I am trying to get the prayer chains going again... For those of you unfamiliar with Jaxson's journey, We have had some previous prayer threads for him over the past few years... Here are links to them to give you some background on Jaxson's condition if you don't know it.

My Daughter, Katie, had a page that has his history on it up to about May '18 here Jaxson's got guts until she stopped updating there and moved it to Facebook... I don't think she has done much updating anything since she started school and working awhile back.
Prayers for this dear child and for all of you.
Continued prayers for Jaxson.
Grateful for the update.
More prayers up!
Thanks for update. Prayers.
May the Holy Spirit be with Jax and his family.
Prayers continuing.
Lord, have mercy on this child and his family, and heal him. I plead the blood of Jesus over them. Give them faith, hope, and the peace that passes all understanding.
My heart goes out to brave and remarkable Jaxson and you all.
Prayers continue.
Praying for this precious child and for all of you, too.
Thanks for the update Az! Keep on praying for the little guy...
FATHER GOD,
Thank You for Your continued love and care over Jaxson and his family. Bless each one of them and give them strength to see the ups and downs of Jaxon’s recovery through.
Regulate the fluids in Jaxon’s body. Allow him to breathe normally so he will not need a tracheotomy. Surround Jaxon with Your ministering angels.
Thank You for the good plans You have for Jaxon and the testimony of this loving family. You are faithful.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
Prayers continue for this dear little boy and his family. And that the good Lord will lead and guide his doctors.
A double Amen for Jaxson!
Hope you get good luck. Prayers!!
Poor little child going through so much! And i was just lamenting our kitchen floor rotting away and the upcoming expense! Makes me realize my problems are so trivial! Praying for this boy and his family. May God give them healing and strength!
Lord Jesus Christ, give strength to Thy servant Jaxson.
In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
So, today God's perfect timing showed through again with the pastor's message, what makes it so perfect is he does not choose the subject, it was just the next few verses in Colossians currently as his sermons are more of a continuous bible study than a regular sermon. But his message spoke directly to our current situation with my son and gave me the words I needed to try to wake him up and remedy the petty family problems he is stirring up.
Now then the update on Katie and Jaxson... actually, she made a couple of updates in the past 24 hours and I wanted to share both of them...
First, was her feeling stressed and reaching out,
Ive not been feeling myself, getting increasingly overwhelmed mentally with everything going on. It is not easy going through a transplant let alone during a global pandemic and an equality movement on top of it. Emotions are high & all over the place. So a lot has happened the last few days. Jaxson had a panic attack and started hyperventilating which required him to go back on the bipap. Because of his need for support increased they moved him back down to the icu to reassess. They were hoping it was a fluid overload issue and they could wean the bipap settings back down and only use it at night. That hasnt been the case. He is so de conditioned from not getting up and moving for two months, so everything is weak. Because of his increased work of breathing, his left ventricle is collapsing and he is using 60-70% of his heart to breathe. We have started talking about a tracheostomy again & i think the benefits outweigh the risks so that will be happening sometime next week. If we dont do this now, his heart will fail. Somehow he still smiles and plays through all of this.
Then a few hours ago we got this good news which still has me somewhat shocked... Katie being 1500 miles away going through this without her whole family support system is terrible and this sounds like the beginning of our recent prayers for her being answered. Mostly glad that she sounds back up to her usual positive self.
She says - No more tpn, hes on full feeds for 24hrs! If theres any silver lining to all of the setbacks, its that transplant wise he continues to do well. And with that being said, normally i wouldnt say anything until its set in stone but we need all the prayers and positive vibes we can get, transplant team is okay with transferring us to a hospital back home after his trach is placed as long as we can find a doctor there who is comfortable doing his scopes & biopsies. So send us all the positive vibes because if everything goes well were only looking at a couple more weeks here.
Prayers for you, Katie, and for Jaxson, too.
Positive news. We will continue to pray for Jaxson and the family. God bless and keep you.
Thanks for the praise reports. Prayers up for the whole family. I didn’t realize you had a 10 year old son as well. Gotta be tough on him. Having a little brother and not being able to pick on him must be agonizing. Just kidding!!! Just a little joke there. Tell the big guy he’s in our prayers, too.
