Heavenly Father –

This Veterans Day weekend--the 101st anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War One, November 11, 1918, may we recognize the sacrifices of brave men and women, who fought to keep us safe and keep us free.

Most inspiring is the Pledge by Private Martin Treptow, who was killed in action in World War One:

May we have that same resolve. Guided by the Captain of our soul. And be reminded that the Lord is our strength. And though the battle looks daunting, we have this promise:

We lift up President Trump, Vice President Pence, and so many godly leaders who are fighting on many fronts for the soul of our nation. Especially the enemy within and spiritual forces of evil in high places.

In this battle, equip all prayer warriors to be filled by Spirit, full of wisdom, courage, and strength. To stand firm and fight like the struggle depends on each of us alone—plus Almighty God.

May God give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And through Your grace and infinite mercy, make America great again.

Forgive us when we take our God-given freedom for granted. May we be ever mindful of the millions of brave men and women who paid the ultimate price so we could enjoy the blessings of liberty. May young and old stand together to fight for the soul of America. May righteousness prevail, so that these warriors did not suffer or die in vain.
