The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1106903/posts. When did baptists start recognizing bishops? I know I saw an article today where he was speaking to catholics(?) about works and then he goes right to preaching to a denomination of OSAS. What's next? Who are these people praising his every word anyway? He would have been thoroughly grilled at my church.

Well, if you are calling me "gordita", that is definitely not "bien":')

I know but un is "a" una would be "one" . For lazy I have no idea. Some words masculine some feminine regardless of the gender sometimes. I forget. I took Spanish in Jr high, high school and college and made a's and b's but didn't retain much. Most of what I know people around me have taught me. Reading in Spanish completely different though. I guess that's where my schooling kicks in. I think I'm using a different part of my brain when I read.

Back to you.

We may at first wonder why the attempt to prove the reality of the Divinity of Christ made it necessary to falsify the whole of Jewish history, as the Gentile Church undoubtedly did, If you're going to make such a sweeping charge, you might want to provide some evidence. Any evidence or even an example of what is meant would be nice. How exactly is the "whole" of Jewish history "falisified"?
This allowed the goyim to read out the original judgments and statutes documenting the authority of the Jewish Beit Din and read in their own miso-Judaic judgments and statutes in their place. In this way, the Church disconnected the Judaic Scriptures from their Judaic context and opened the door for Roman hegemony - displacement theology. To avoid acknowledging the Beit Din system, KJV Note renders mishpat variously as "lawful," "manner," "ceremony," "fashion," "cause" and "ordinance."
I'm sure you're immersered enough so this is lucid to you, but it doesn't explain itself to me, or I'm sure to the bulk of us. If you are trying to do something other than impress us with your jargon, you're going to need to explain.
Oh, and citing the KJV as proof of an ancient "Roman" conspiracy is kinda silly.

Although many think the term "worship" is only applicable to "God", in fact the term relates to showing reverence even to a fellow man. Here, I agree.
