Sure - but it's no where near as easy as Fawnn's suggestion for me last night for my pork steaks....

You want easy?
Try "poor Dad's casserole".
If you want the recipe just let me know.

Fast too. On the table in less than 1/2 hour.

Georgia
Georgia

the whole day through.
Just an old sweet song
keeps Georgia on my mind.
Talkin' 'bout Georgia

I'm in Georgia.

A song of you comes as sweet and clear
as moon light through the pines.
Other arms reach out to me.
Other eyes smile tenderly.
Still in peaceful dreams I see
the road leads back to you.

Georgia
sweet Georgia

no peace I find.
Just an old sweet song
keeps Georgia on my mind.
Just an old sweet song
keeps Georgia on my mind.

Thank you Georgia !!

I will do my best - please understand, this is one I made up myself years ago and have never really sat down and properly written it out. I came up with this when you could get a package of skinny pork chops for about $1 a pound, and I would use 2 chops per serving.

2-3 onions, sliced
2-3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
8 thin pork chops
Mushroom stuffing

Mushroom stuffing:

8-10 ounces mushrooms (or more if you wish)
2-8 cloves of garlic (depending on your taste for garlic)
seasoned breadcrumbs
butter or margarine
parmesan cheese(or other har grated cheese such as romano)

Finely chop mushrooms and garlic (food processor is easiest). Melt butter in small non-stick fry-pan and add mushrooms and garlic, saute until hot, add bread crumbs to absorb liquids, then add cheese until melted and entire mess is almost like a paste.

Equally divide mushroom mixture on half of the chops and fit other chop on top. Securing with picks is optional.

Layer onions and apples in 9x13 baking pan that has been coated with olive oil or cooking spray. Place stuffed chops on top. bake at 350 for 20 minutes, flip chops, cover with and bake an additional 30 minutes or until done to your liking.

Serve by placing stuffed chop on plate and piling apples and onions on top.

I forgot to say - a splash of beer, wine, apple juice/cider or apple liquor before covering does wonders!!!

You're welcome

But please, my dear FRiend - remember, I have never before sat down and figured it out. I just wing it as I'm going along.

The mushroom stuffing is the same one I use to make stuffed mushrooms, except I obviously use more mushrooms because I'm only using the stems for the stuffing. Stuffed mushrooms alone has made many a meal in this house.

I have had pretty good luck with Dish Network.

If you are a NFL diehard fan and want the Sunday Ticket, get Direct TV tho.

With Dish, at least, I have a good reason to go to a bar tho when playoffs roll around. "Honey, I got to go watch the games at the bar." :-)
