The joe schmoe voter is more likely to go Arnie,You're right about that.
who did good as well, that being the case I offer the following scenario... Arnie endorsed by Tom. Tom becomes "Budget Czar" under Arnie. As California is turned around, Tom runs for senate on the California miracle, funded, supported and backed by Bush, Arnie and a grateful Rep. party.....
I think TM would be wasted in DC. I've seen congress devour too many intelligent and capable politicians. No, that guy was made to be governor of CA.
Its too bad for him (and we Californians) that things have shaped up the way they have, what with a movie star jumping in...

He is clearly the best candidate but Arnie's going to win. And even if I'm not his fan, he's going to be better than Davis.

You lived in Auburn?
I live in Meadow Vista.
Great debate. Much livelier than the Dem presidential debates have been.

If McClintock really cares about CA, and as of tonight I believe he does, than he should team up with Arnold. They'd make a great duo.

I think Tom would make a great Senator from California. If the state won't elect him because he's too conservative, then Dubya needs to give him a good job in his Administration. He was very impressive.

The calm Cruz affected was an interesting side by side counterpoint to Arianna's hysteria. Made her look even worse, if that's possible.

As a person who support Schwarzenegger at this point, I have asked to have anti-McClintock graphics removed from this thread and would appreciate it if you would refrain from posting anti-Schwarzenegger graphics as well.
Folks have been having a positive lively discussion here. Please contribute positively here to move on to another thread. Thank you.

But that shrew on stage tonight is enough to drive anyone to consider switching teams. I think I might be turned off permanently. LOL ... A nude pic of the 1970s Arnold the bodybuilder - that's pornography.
A nude pic of Arriana - that's obscenity.

I agree with you about electability. I don't think Cruz impressed anyone tonight, and I think that McClintock definitely set himself up for a run at Boxer.
You are correct in that Tom needs a personality infusion, but he's got time yet.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

They would make a great team. And I liked the way they "agreed" with each other most of the debate.

Det 4 KC 3....Tigers attempting to prevent a tie record of 120 losses in a season!!! Yep - Tigers have motivation; KC is out of gas and demoralized having watched the Twinkies Destroy them and the WSox in the past two weeks.

His final two minutes was a list of things he stands for that Arnold doesn't. It was anti-Arnold non-stop.This is you at your your subtle, scab picking best (or worst as it were). You plead for everyone to play nice and then get quietly and carefully get your vicious little dig in on the candidate you hate.
To top it off, you'll come back and play wounded: "Attack McClintock? Moi?"
To: icwhatudo
I think it was wrong on this thread when we are getting along for once after a month of being at each other's throats! Call it inappropriate for this thread. BTW, I may be a newbie compared to some on here but I didn't change my screen name from the first day I was on here -- been the same forever! Now I guess I should start guessing who you were before! LOL!!! BTW, the smiley was cute!

Yes. Warm and fuzzy is the most important thing a candidate should be. That's the first thing I look for in an insurance agent.
