We are in the process of doing a conspiracy theory right here about this nomination and of course it goes right back to Hillary!

When Frist started a few minutes ago, he said he was
the last one to speak, and that he wanted to make his
comments about Miguel Estrada and read a letter (the Gonzalez letter) into the record.

Then .. he mentioned something key .. maybe it's code ..
when mentioning Estrada being in the "Clinton-Reno Justice Department."

Since Estrada left in '97 .. could it be that he left
because of the abuse and scandalous behavior going on
in SwampWoman's Justice Dept?? Being the decent man he's purported to be, wouldn't be surprising if he's got the goods on a LOT of people.

Perhaps Frist's mentioning that signals something else to come.

Maybe all the other Dems are using this to get rid of Hillary.

That went through my tiny little brain also. But, when you think about it, why the hell would they want to keep her around if she is ready to blackmail her 'friends' if they don't agree with her power grab? The only way to get rid of her would be to have unity within the Dems in the Senate to go after her and make her blackmail useless.

Y'all are talking about what Estrada may know concerning the Clintons. Does that matter? It doesn't seem to me that much is being done about their crimes.. er. shenanigans.. other than by Judicial Watch.

Someone suggested yesterday, that Estrada was part of the SG office that was fighting for Bush in the 2000 fight with the Supreme Court. And that's the dirt that the Rats REALLY want. I'm sure I missed the discussion about that. Was anything else discussed about that, that you could shed light on?

Maybe all the other Dems are using this to get rid of Hillary. Maybe that is why they want the internals released.

She got in trouble the last time when those billing records were found in broad daylight with her fingerprints all over them. I would just love to know who did that to her!!

OK, I think I understand it now, please correct where I am wrong:

Frist said that they wouldn't take up Senate business until noon on Thursday, but there were some speeches left to take place. So basically what he has done is preserve the means to call everyone back for sleep disruptive quorum calls. But it also gives him the political cover to do so without the Dems crying that the GOP were the ones delaying Senate business with their speeches. So it is a reverse filibuster, but without delaying any Senate business.

Is that it?
