Remember how the RATs refused to go look at those documents that people like Senator Graham (then Cong) said would change their minds. My two Senators from OK said the same thing. Are the documents sealed or can they now be entered into the official impeachment record?

Hot DANG I knew me sticking with this would pay off! Frist is playing HARDBALL!! I'm glad that we're still here enjoying this... go Frist, GO!
To: Diddle E. Squat
Frist is back! What on earth? Appears about to make a speech himself.
I figured when he said they are adjourned till tomorrow that would be it as far as trying to roust any Democrats back overnight. (Collegiality and all that.) Are they just giving speeches all night long to hold the floor or get attention or something, or is it possible he may call the Democrats back in?

I am not a senate historian by any means but I think Frist has read the rules carefully and is using the quorum as a weapon. Brutal, I think unprecedented, but perhaps a counterbalance against the filibuster.

Thanks for the info!

methinks some of us owe the surgeon an apology...Bush is acting like Michael Corleone at the end of Godfather I...all of the family's enemies will be taken care of in the next few days....

Hhhmmmmm just a threat of a Quorum call? The mice are toying with the RAT.
Apparently we don't quite have the sixty, since they are still talking.
To: Otta B Sleepin
Yikes, he did it! They're taking the roll!I was just about to comment that if Frist wanted to bust balls he could do another quorum call! I love it....

Estrada is a threat to Hillary and all the pro-aborts because he has not knelt at their feet and promised to vote their way regarding the life issue. He understands and honors the Constituion. Can't have somebody voting contrary to the will of Hillary.
This is Hillary's version of 'statesmanship'.
To: Howlin
YES!
To: hoosiermama
Read my posts earlier, this is a reverse filibuster designed to break the democrats. Qourum calls every 2-3 hours just to break that little REM happiness.

Unprecedented, exactly just like filibustering a judicial nominee. Frist is going to show these guys how to really play hardball! If there is anyone I wouldn't want to try and outlast in endurance it would be a heart surgeon!
