his tune changed dramtically after that.Again, that's *your* observation and therefore subject to your personal biases, the continual bleating of press bias, your own preceptual limitations, fading memory effect and any other inherent limitations or factors that affect the grey matter ... besides - what major BEEFS did you have with GHB and his policy s that you insist Rsh started 'licking boots over?
MY RECOLLECTION is one of Rush taking exception to the 'no new taxes pledge' that X-41 ended up breaking ...

Hillary was never going to run for senate, W was going to clean up during the election of '92...there's 2...wish it was like the good ole days with condom updates and all the humor...loved him back then when he wasn't making excuses for RINOS.

I agree. What makes Rush worth listening to (and the main reason why he's been the wild success he has been for so long) is that he gives a great sense of humor to the political arena. Further, he (Rush) gives more insight clowing around than the entire editorial staff at the New York Times does being snotty and socialist.
I've never heard Hannity's radio show because he's not on here, but Sean has the unenviable job of going toe-to-toe with a true mental small fry, Alan Colmes. Sean has the looks to be on TV and that's all that is really needed to be on television (at least in front of the camera). The fact that he can run circles around Colmes is but an added bonus.
So the Rush v. Sean debate is a little irrelevant considering that the two of them have completely different deliveries and are both successful.

Seans heart and mind are in the right place...RUSH has several years on him and it shows. I would not be surprised if RUSH has a piece of his syndication.I bet Sean went to Rush for advice and I bet Rush was delighted to help. Remember, these guys roamed the same hallways at WABC in New York and are on the same WABC team even though Rush now does his show primarily from his home in Florida. Rush even boosted Sean by giving him several opportunities behind the golden EIB microphone when he went on vacation.

oh ok...i'm limited and mentally deficient....you win. I'm not biased...just telling it like it is...and Rush is a snob to boot...the man has never owned a pair of jeans and is proud of it hahaha ;)

I love Sean, but I have problems with his format. He constantly has opposing views and they end up yelling and fighting. Nothing ever gets solved - just much ado about nothing. And his juvenile jabbing with Flipper. It is so silly.
I share his views and appreciate his efforts, but he needs to cut out some of his guests and just talk more with callers. Boortz has said the same thing about him.

When Rush did do the TV spots they wouldn't let him talk, remember? I think he said he wasn't gong to waste anymore time with it.

Someone told me last week that I look like an older version of Sean Hannity. I suppose I ought to feel flattered. Maybe there is some common Irish lineage? ;-)
I admire his gutsy take on the issues.

"buzz words",p. Thank you!!! I've listened to Hannity since he was hired to replace Bob Grant. He's personable and willing to meet the other side, but he has the depth of a piece of scotch tape. His use on mantras, particularly in rapid sucesssion, would do Al Sharpton proud.
IMVHO my greatest fear is that the liberal media starts replaying Hannity's drum beating for war all over the air. Last week on my way home, he seemed giddy about the coming hostilities. As one who supports Bush's course in this matter, I was horrified. His "on the brink of war" intros seem like countdown to Super Sunday. Unlike Rush who sees this war as necessary for the safety and security of America, I get the feeling that Hannity sees it as another bump in his ratings. He's entertaining, and stuck in traffic on the LIE he's a diverting listen, but William F. Buckley he's not.

W was going to clean up during the election of '92.I'VE got RUSH on TAPE from that LAST presidential election and you're WRONG on this point ...
making excuses for RINOS.
You people who bring out htis 'RINO' bit *are* mentally defective ... the Republican Party (as Rush points out on MANY occasions) is the current home of Conservatism ... THIS MEANS THAT liberal Republicans CAN and DO exist - witness BLOOMBOMB in NY and the several other (relatively) liberal repubs in the northeastern states ...

I wish FOX deported Colmes to his la-la land.
AMEN!
To: Kevin Curry
I admire his gutsy take on the issues.I have to admire his tenacity, his basic, open-approach to presenting what he thinks and the reasoning for his position. While not a steady listener I have deduced this form those complete programs of his I have caught - and still catch - on regular occasions.
Speaking of gutsy and tenacity - I have to admire yours as well ...

I don't have cable, so I have never seen Colmes. You should tune into Sean's radio show. He talks about Colmes, but has never had him on the show.
