Truer words were never spoken

I don't understand why we are having a debate on who is better: Rush or Sean. They are both great voices for conservatism...

Dittos. The two shows are very complimentary and both men have their own strengths. I have phoned both shows, gotten on-air twice with each, and have been very impressed with their call screeners, too.

While Rush comes up with more original humor and material, Sean truly shines when he interviewing some of his guests. I neither desire Rush to have guests, nor demand that Sean inject more humor. I love both shows, and listen to both of them whenever I am able to.

I do believe that Sean will sway more liberals to listen to the conservative point of view, though.

I agree...Sean is too vanilla and nothing original...he does about as well as i would with the facts and info...sometimes he seems to just be towing the line...not much new ground is covered by him. O'Relly is much quicker on his feet and he has to do the whole show by himself...i am sure O'reilly barely has time to dig down on a story but he does quite well.

Agreed. Sean is a very nice guy, but no intellectual heavyweight. He has a tendency to over-simplify complex issues and make emotional appeals. His constant attempts to get Lefties to admit that they are "anti-american" or unpatriotic drive me up a wall.

The power of logic and faith will defeat the left. Resorting to emotional appeals merely validates the left's own methods.

And his juvenile jabbing with Flipper. It is so silly

I like Sean but have to agree with you on the dippy Flipper thang. He needs to dump that kook, I have to flip it over to my locale conservitive T.S.H. when he starts his silly tirade with her.

Hannity is too repetitive. "Number 1...Number 2..." And i think he steals Rush's and other peoples ideas too. Needs more independent thought. But he's a whole lot more articulate than Colmes altho Colmes is improving. Further, Colmes seems to be moving further to the right. So that shows growth and honesty in Colmes. And it makes their show more believable and watchable.

Exactly- they're both fantastic in their own way. Rush being much more intutitive, insightful, though-provoking. Sean being very articulate, more confrontational, who absolutely pounces on the liberal competition. Has anyone heard him teak RFK apart, outing him as a total hypocrite on the oil/SUV issue? He was AWESOME!!!

oh ok...i'm limited and mentally deficient....you win. I'm not biased...just telling it like it is...and Rush is a snob to boot...the man has never owned a pair of jeans and is proud of it hahaha ;)

Did you just drift over here from DU?

I live in Huntsville, Al and listened to Sean regularly. He was GREAT! Really hated to see him go.
