The Is-There-A-Run-On-Duct-Tape-Yet? thread

Has anyone bought plastic and tape as mentioned by Tom Ridge. I am sure some hard core Freepers already have it, left over from Y2K. I remember reading stories how the Israelis had all this stuff at the ready.
When is the Hajj over? When does Hajji come home? Will MSNBC run a Countown to Hajj ticker?
Maybe we should tape Gravis into his chair.

I hate to say it, but this recommendation from Ridge is as boneheaded as anything the Dim's could come up with.
He may as well have asked us all to go hide under the staircase. Sometimes no news is better than idiotic news.

Not being prepared is more "bonehead". Don't come knocking on my door to borrow a cup of "duct tape". ;)

I remember reading stories how the Israelis had all this stuff at the ready. I keep five rolls on hand. Of course, I need it to hold my car together, so I'm not your "average" consumer of the magic grey stuff.

How is duct tape like the Force?
It has a light side...
...it has a dark side...
...and it binds the universe together :o)

Doesn't everyone already have a few rolls of duct tape already on hand? I think I'll use mine to tape hillary's mouth shut after the attack and she wants to blame Bush.

It is extremely insulting, too. These ass-clowns want us to duct tape our windows and stock up on food and water, while Achmed can cross the border (with who-knows-what) with impunity.
I'm sorry, but while I realize what Rush has been saying about the Democrats capitalizing on the "next" attack and blaming Bush for it, he had more than a year to deport illegals and protect the borders. He is failing us.

Bingo! I haven't lived without duct tape for 25+ years. There's a small roll in the trunk, a roll in the garage, and a roll in the basement. Also in the basement is a roll of serious high-speed tape (real, foil duct tape).
In a bad attack, take your plastic bag, put it over your head, and wrap duct tape around your neck. This whole thing is the modern equivalent of "duck and cover".

Heheh - my husband heard this last night on the news and said, "hey, we already have lots of duct tape and I got plastic sheeting, too." Too funny! Like someone said, real men already have this stuff on hand. Now food and water - that's another matter LOL

Being "prepared" by being panicked by stupid suggestions coming from the government is boneheaded. If you think that putting duct tape over the cracks in your windows and doors is going to protect you from chemical and biological warfare agents, then you are not prepared; you are a bonehead. Bonehead = ignorant.
To: Poohbah
Ah yes, the binding force of the universe.
Not to mention furnaces, cars, bicycles, motorcycles, trash cans, doors, etc, etc, etc.
Is the inventor of duct tape a millionaire?
