If I'm not up to speed on a local issue or candidate, I just call the local Party HQ. They always keep a list of Party recommendations for everything on the ballots. Anyone in doubt or in the dark (and unwilling or without time to research) should look to their local Party for help. Wouldn't hurt to call and check yourself anyway. They may have recommendations in conflict with our choices and usually they can articulately explain why.

Yes, Straight Republican. I'm in the 2nd district of Connecticut. This is our towns first election with the new paper scanned ballots. It was simplier than the old lever operated voting machines, even if it dosen't go DING when you register your vote. No lines to speak of, but I did go to vote at 10:00 AM, there were some people in line, but not that many.

I voted first thing this morning -- a Straight Republican ticket in Texas. I live in small rural town in Texas Panhandle. I was the only person in the polling place and my name was number 7 on the list. This town is totally conservative. Most local elections run unopposed Republicans.

I voted @ 7:06 this morning in TN. It was already pretty busy.
I live in a very urban area in downtown Nashville...I cannot wait to see the results of my district. We may be the only Republican votes

I voted in WA state. And I called/emailed all my relatives in FL to get out the vote for Jeb. This is going to be a close one.

Can anyone tell me where I can download a copy of that Holloween-type Cemetary graphic I saw here on Free Republic about a week ago?
The caption was something like "They're Voting. Are You?"
I need to e-mail this to some of my right-thinking, but slack, friends!

Washington state vote bump. Still have another sign-waving stint ahead this afternoon. Unusual amount of positive responses from drivers this morning.

Yeah "go democrats!" go where you will receive your punishment for being rules of evil. "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil". Romans 13:3.

I was #6 and Mrs Conan was #7 at our poll. It usually is dead there, but just as we left it was filling up.

We're proud of you, that is true voluntareeism, unlike what Sanchez did here to try to buy the governor's seat. He paid children (child labor!) to go door to door making his propaganda. We volunteered at the Republican phone bank and the only nasty/ugly incident occurred when by chance, we dialed into a demorat's house - he started to throw insults out of the abundance of his rotten heart. Just one more tiny illustration of the lack of quality in those demos.
