Monthly Donors. Important Notice.

FR has changed the donation site and all monthly donors who wish to continue should re-input their information on the new site. Badjoe last ran the FR support monthlies September 20th. It is now October 21 so you are now out of danger of being hit twice in one month. : )

If you have not gone to the new site and re-entered your information your monthly has stopped.

Now I know you don't want that to happen it, so please go HERE to re-up.

The next Freepathon will come sooner and last longer if you don't do this now.

Please Freepmail Badjoe or e-mail him at Badjoe@socal.rr.com with your real name after you have done this so he can remove you from the old file.

Well, for the time being, you will have to FReepmail me. But we plan on allowing each individual donor access through our secure server to maintain their own pledge record. Authorize.net is adding such a feature to their system (scheduled for release before the end of this year) and John will update our system as soon as it becomes available.

The point is to donate to FreeRepublic.com, where Conservatives have a voice that is heard.

I don't want to elaborate on what my specific concerns have been (there's no need to do that at this point) - I will just say that I am comfortable using my credit card to donate to FreeRepublic, having had those concerns addressed by John Robinson. And I have done so - four times during this last fundraiser. And I would encourage others who have questions about using their credit cards to seek the answers - I think they will come to the same conclusion I did.

The total so far, is $52,000 received plus $6,000 ($3,000 per month for the re-upped monthly pledges to-date for Nov and Dec) for a total of approx $58,000. If the other half of the monthlies re-up before the end of this month, we will have another $9,000 for the quarter or a total of 67,000. Right on target!

Do you hold some position with FR of which I am unaware? You seem to be making 'not so subtle' references to other posters, conspiracies, etc. I'm just wondering .....why? The original question wasn't even addressed to you, was it?

Askel5 is just being a loyal supporter of FR, I would think. All that is good needs to be defended.
