"THE PRESIDENT SHOULD WORRY MORE ABOUT HIS COUNTRY AND LESS ABOUT HIS POLLSTERS"-Tom Daschle 9/26/02

This is a Daschle comment from this morning quoted by Fred Francis of MSNBC. Daschle was commenting about how the President has not gone far enough in being conciliatory to the Democrats. Daschle is now saying that because of the lack of trust they feel, they may not pass Homeland Security or an Iraq resolution prior to going home to campaign. Your comments are welcome. Hopefully, you will all fight back. This comment was particularly beyond the pale, don't you think? This is war, folks. Our President is being savaged and undermined during a time of war. They are now also asking the question, "Are you better off than you were two years ago?" This garbage must not stand!

Hey Tommy you weasle worthless piece of crap .. BITE ME LOL. You lookin' to get Rabies!
They don't want to vote on Homeland Security? Fine with me. Then while Congress is 'home', GWB can be out every day reminding the American people that what he said was true - the Dems ARE putting politics ahead of national security.

Wait no longer.
From the party of Clinton comes the admonishment that the president is too poll-conscious?
If Shameless Hypocritical B@st@rds had a club, Daschle would be its leader - wait, the 'Rats are a kind of club.
Tell everyone you know that the Democrats are with the terrorists who will kill your children while they sleep. Do not stop talking until past November. Do it!

The title of this thread is RICH. It's time for TIM AND TOM TO GO. VOTE FOR JOHN THUNE - THEN TIM'S GONE. We can send Tom D. into early retirement in 2004.
I have President Bush's book called Renewing America's Purpose. He was worrying about this country long before he put his hand on the Bible and took the Oath of Office. Policy Addresses of George W. Bush from July 1999 - July 2000.
PART 1 - Education, PART 2 - New Agenda for Compassion, PART 3 - Strengthening SS and Medicare PART 4 - ECONOMY, PART 5 - GOVERNMENT REFORM, PART 6 - NATIONAL STRENGTH AND PURPOSE.
What really tees me off is what Gephardt did today. He sat next to Daschle and started his rant about the ECONOMY. Did anyone else notice that when the dems rant about the economy, it is compartmentalized and they never talk about the war on terrorism? Everyone knows this is Gephardt's strategy, he said so. The economy is suffering for many reasons but not due to Dubya's economic plan. The more the dems propagandize, the less credibility they have IMO.

National news ratings are way down -- my parents always watched the national news and now my Mom will only turn on Brit and she isn't alone. We had to get my mother a satellite dish because we were afraid she would have a stroke from screaming at CNN
By the way .. she lives in Philly and she couldn't get Fox News .. with a satellite we solved that problem

Here we go with the moral equivalence crap: "Well, you accused Clinton of making all his decisions by looking at the polls, so it's only fair that we accuse Bush of doing the same. The war is popular, so that's what he's got to be doing, right? You said it, so now we get to say it. It's no different than what you did to us."
THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT IT'S NOT TRUE THIS TIME, YOU *@%## CLYMERS, AND YOU KNOW IT!!

Understand that in total! Without Fox, I would watch no news!

Ok, I have just figured out the plan that the RATS and the media have. Joe Biden is telling Powell that there should be TWO resolutions..no talk of invasion in the first one. You see, this makes it possible for the RATS to avoid voting on a war resolution BEFORE the election. That's all this is about.

This morning Daschle said (before they cut to the POTUS), that the Republicans were filibustering, excuse me? Who's been obstructing and abusing his power since he was handed the big prize by Jeffords. Daschle is going to end up in the Bill Clinton Hall of Shame, right next to Algor.
To: Wait4Truth
Biden can bitch and bellow all he wants, but he is getting just one resolution from which to decide - aye or nay. What a pompous ass.

I hope you're right. Powell's answer was that he'd have to see the language and speak with the President.

Speaking of polls, we know the Rats don't go to the bathroom without taking a poll"The Russians don't take a dump, son, without a plan." (As spoken by Fred Thompson's character in "Hunt for Red October"
Sound like this applies to the Dims as well!

As a matter of fact, I AM better off than I was two years ago. Maybe we should all EMAIL DICK GEPHARDT OR CALL HIS OFFICE AND TELL HIS STAFF THAT WE ARE BETTER off than we were two years ago today.
I say we organize an email, fax and phone freep of Gephardt. I'm raring to go and we don't even have to get snippy, just a nice little phone call or email. Tomorrow's Friday. That would be perfect. SOMEONE PLEASE POST THE LATEST NUMBER FOR THE CAPITOL SWITCHBOARD AND GEP'S EMAIL.
To: Wait4Truth
From what I understand, the Administration is close to agreement on specific language for the resolution. If Biden has been shut out, too bad for him. Seems to me the Administration just has good sense.

At this point, although I know how important the judiciary is, I WANT DASCHLE to have to turn over that gavel. That's MY number on priority! Will he wear the same constipated expression that Little Dickie Gephardt wore when he passed to gavel to Newt? Being able to see that look again will be PRICELESS!!

Don't we all agree that if we get hit again, they will blame President Bush? I think they see it as a win-win strategy if they stall. The dems are making this political, yes indeed.
