Let me just make myself clear in case you're not getting it: I said IF SOMEONE hurt my kids. I don't sit here all day long obsessing over my kids. And I seem to remember that certain men in this world have committed the cruelest acts of violence on children. One of those victims of cruelty was Adam Walsh.

And last but not least, this thread is not about whether you think I am paranoid or not, because I really don't give a rat's behind what you think, it's about getting a little boy back safely to his mother. So take your argument somewhere else. It's not about you.

For heaven's sake, Surfin! She didn't say that she lies awake every night thinking of ways to exact revenge on anyone who might some day hurt her children! But a thread like this certainly makes one think of the possibilities ..... and any woman with a grain of maternal instincts feels the same way ..... hurt me and I'll deal with it .... but hurt my kids or grandkids and you've wakened an angry she-bear!

Surfin...this situation isn't about your personal problems. It's not about you!!! There is a child missing. The father didn't return the child as the court ordered...refused to. The father split. He is acting against court order following his visitation. What don't you understand about that???

I don't know what he's talking about with his "Andrea Yates" mentality and all the other stuff. Maybe he had a bad experience in the past with the mother of his children. In any case, Andrea Yates did not protect her children, Surfin, she murdered them. There's is a huge difference between what she did and what I said.

This will be my last comment on this subject here on this discussion thread because like I stated before, Surfin, this isn't about me or you or how you think I am paranoid, it's about getting Billy back to his mother who the courts deemed fit. The father has already proven by running off with the child and his past behavior (if you haven't read the entire thread, take the time, it may help you) that he should NOT be alone with this child.

Happened to me twenty years ago. In NYS there were no laws at that time that had any teeth. I had to search for my son on my own. It took 26 months but I found him.

If the laws that exist now existed then the ordeal would heve been over in weeks or days, not years. This is on your side.

There is no describing the hell it feels like. Only prayer and an absolute unwillingnes to give up, even for a second, will win the day.

You have my sympathy and my prayers. Most of these parental kidnapping issues resolve well. Hold on to that.
