Liberal Senate Coalition continues to oppose permanent and sensible tax relief
The African American Republican Leadership Council expresses outrage at the coalition of liberal Senators led by Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle who continue to oppose sensible and permanent tax relief for all Americans.
Upon becoming Senate Majority Leader last year through back door dealings, Tom Daschle has proven to be a burden to working class Americans and has sought to repel every part of President Bushs 10 year 1.35 billion dollar tax cut at every turn.
Just last week Senator Daschle and his liberal coalition of Democrats with the support two liberal Republicans and one Independent killed the repealing of the Estate Tax permanently.
Tom Daschle has gone as so far as to require a super majority of 60 votes to make any part of The Bush 10-year Tax Plan permanent.
Senator Daschle and his coalition have made the unfounded claim publicly that the 10-year tax plan endangers the fiscal responsibility of the federal government.
Senator Daschle's claim cant even be supported in the long term since the Senate under his leadership has engaged in election year pork spending.
The Estate Tax, which is also known as the Death Tax, has been used for years to rob hard-working and mostly middle class Americans of their wealth at the time of death.
Liberals have for years used the excuse that the estate tax was a necessary tool to see that the rich finally pay their fair share of taxes, but taxpayer rights groups have shown that the rich use federal loopholes and high priced lawyers to see that the wealth they amassed is past on to their heirs.
The middle class taxpayers has always been the one to feel the burden of taxes and for Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and this coalition to resurrect the death tax after a 10 year period, goes to show the election year voter that The Democrat Party is not the party of fiscal responsibility but still the party of massive tax and spend tactics.
Minority Voters in this election year also need to be reminded that several top African American Business Leaders took out several full-page ads in national newspapers last year demanding that President Bush and the Congress do away with the death tax.
African American Business Leaders made the case that the estate tax has complete if not nearly destroyed the African American Farmer in America and puts at risk African American Business that were obtained in the post civil rights era, since it robs Original African Americans Owners of 55% of all assets obtained over the years at the time of death.
Taxpayer Rights Groups have stated that the estate tax only brings in 1.75% of the total revenue collected by the federal government each year.
AARLC demands that Senator Daschle bring to the floor an amendment to permanently end the estate tax and work with President Bush to keep federal spending to the 4% level as he has requested several times in the past.
Congressional Leaders and the President need to take a look at the massive size of the federal government and reduce pork spending within key agencies that would save the American Taxpayer untold billions yearly and this would allow for a sensible and permanent tax cut for all Americans.
AARLC reminds all elected officials that local, state and federal government dont create wealth, but are limited to collecting only needed revenue. Simply put, it is not the governments money but that of the taxpayer and all unneeded funds should be returned to the taxpayer as President Bush and Reaganite Republicans have sought to do permanently.

The Daschle Coalition will oppose and defeat the marriage tax next once it is send over from the house. These taxes only bring in a total of 3.25% of all government revenue collected and they both are completely unfair to hardworking middle class Americans. Our website will be up later this afternoon as well.

You cannot buy votes with money returned to those who gave it. Class warfare is right out of the Marist/Leninist hand book.

Who said anything about buying votes? Governments have a Constitutional Duty to return all unneeded and unused funds to the taxpayer. Surpluses are Unconstitutional because the government can't explain where is gets the right to have a surplus of funds.

Just last week Senator Daschle and his liberal coalition of Democrats with the support two liberal Republicans and one Independent killed the repealing of the Estate Tax permanently.
Logic 101. Lobbyists and special interest groups are accused of buying access to government power. They do it by donating both soft and hard money and who knows what other back-room deals. More important, it's the politicians that put up for sale access to government power in the first place.
Do politicians trade or buy votes among themselves? How much did Jeffords gain by leaving the republican party? Did certain democrats pay him to flee the republican party? Did certain republicans pay him to not become a democrat?
Who actually thinks that voting for the lesser of two evils will beget something other than more evil?

I think you may already be convinced. For if there were honest politicians, even one percent, who are they and where are they and why aren't they speaking out about the other 99 percent of politicians that are crooks?

If this country is so rich...it can blow off the loss/theft/misplacement of $17 BILLION dollars......then Lil' Tommy can take his coalition and stick it where the sun don't shine. Grave robbers...all of them!

We had to sell a family farm to settle taxes on my Mother's estate when she died. The farm had been in our family over 100 years. This really happens, and is not about estates of the rich. It makes me sick that taxes are taken and taken. The family has to give up a long heritage because of the likes of LIBERAL greed in Congress.

That is why we must elect officials who will do away with The Death Tax because it gives people like Tom Daschle and Dick Gephardt the right to steal the obtained wealth of milions of Americans each year. Hell if you let them they would show up and rip the gold filling out of your mouth before they could stick you in the ground.

The repeal of the estate tax can hardly be described as a middle class tax relief bill. If one uses an A-B trust, the first 2 million of an estate is exempt from tax for the child beneficiaries. There is no estate tax between spouses. The Dems proposed to double that, and do it earlier. The Dems are right on this issue IMO.

You're invited to visit the thread afraidfortherepublic and I did for Father's Day. It's all about "The Land" and homesteading. It's just necessary to let all the pictures download or you'll miss something.
We honored our great grandfathers and other freepers did the same. There are accounts from the Revoluntionary War, Civil War, the Victorian Era, pre-Castro Cuba and more modern times.

These types of taxes don't just punish the wealthy; they also punish middle class Americans who aspire to be wealthy some day.
