I was tuning in a little bit to Rush's show to day as I eventually came across an apparently imfamous caller who goes by the name Rita X out of Detriot. This was the first time that I've ever heard of Rita X and Rush made a big deal about her calling since it seemed as if Rita took a long hiatus from Rush's show. Any way, the point that I want to make is the bluntly ingorant and bull headed ranting and raving that shot out of the mouth of Rita X.
The ultra anti-American hate-speech and propaganda (which definately wouldn't fly as easily if it came out of the mouths of a a very, very extreme righty and/or non-minority) that she seems to hold so dearly is absolutely unbelivable (yet Rita claims that she's out to gain "justice")! Not to mention that Rita, seemed to suggest (albeit not directly) that, other people from her culture so to speak like Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice aren't properly representing African-American culture (I truly believe that Rita X accused them of being "Uncle Tom's" but maybe it's just me and my ears deceiving me) even though they've been highly successful. If wack jobs like Rita X aren't perfect examples of biting the hand that feeds them (e.g. constantly bashing the USA even though you were born, raised, and continue to live in the USA while making your overblown, unabashed hate-speech) then I seriously don't know what is.
The blue zone could erupt in the same manner as Israel if Rita x had her way.
She hates just about everything except the muslim wing of the nuts in this world.
I think she is possesed by Malcom X's demons.
Missed her rant yesterday; but she is an old caller. . .wish Rush could/would. . .offer Rita an all-expense-paid vacation in Zimbabwe. . .
Hey, wait, I need to check and see where my stepsisters are......lol.......no, couldn't be one of them - Rita knows where New Zealand is located.............
They're right where you left them and you better hurry home to scrub the floors, Cinderella.
Rita X gets on the air at will.
I believe it's a put-on.
Really funny too! Rush should have RitaX on once a week!
There have been a few of those callers to whom who I always loved to listen on Rush's show. My MOST favorite was Mick from the high desert of New Mexico. He had such a wonderful slow way of talking, that just screamed "COWBOY"! One of his most famous lines came when telling Rush about encountering some yuppie lib in his town and saying to the lib, "Sexual penetration to you and the horse you rode in on" I almost choked to death laughing, and it was a minute or two before Rush regained HIS composure! I remember missing him and wondering where he was when Rush read a letter on the show one day from Mick's son. Mick had died a few months before, but his son wrote Rush just to thank him for being someone who brought joy to his dad's final years. I remember Rush being very touched by this.
Rita X on the other hand is another kettle of fish. She is SUCH a blithering idiot, and unfortunately feeds a stereotype some white folks have of stupid black people. Fortunately for black people, she DOESN'T represent them (not all of them anyway). I'm glad Rush lets her rant on; it is a source of entertainment, and I'm sorry I missed her. I had been wondering lately where SHE had been. Rush mentioned her one day on the show and wondered if she had gone up to the 'mother wheel'.
Go to Repy 5 by oldvike - select the second soundbite from Rita (drag the timebar about halfway to get to her call) - this was the old Rita - nuts but affable.
Then go to Repy 38 and read the transcript of the second call there - you can see the pathology developing.
Then go back to Reply 5 and listen to yesterday's call - full blown mental illness.
One of Ronald Reagans worst moves was to assist in policies that allowed the release of people like this into the streets.
