Hello FReepers,

We have some more jaw dropping video for you today. It all took place on state property at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg Florida, on March 13, 2002.

My Favorite Headache and I took the trip up to St. Pete expecting the usual U.S. bashing and commie flourishes. But this event also featured the theme of armed violence against the U.S.

Before the event even began, one of the speakers, Kawal Ulanday of the Philippines, hid the U.S. flag that was prominently positioned behind the podium. This would set the tone for the events that would follow.

Once again, I believe the video speaks for itself. And here are two quotes from it:

Kawal Ulanday, Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines:

“For our movement, taking up arms has been a last resort. Where to U.S. Imperialism it’s always been the first resort. And it’s always the people’s last resort. And so that’s where were at, and that’s where were proudly at. Because we will do definitely whatever it takes.”

Penny Hess, Chair, the African People's Solidarity Committee:

“We have to break our allegiance with this system and say, this is some white people that this government can’t count on … and I say all oppressed peoples have the right to bear arms against tyranny and oppression.”

Hi Ben! No that wasn't Taz that was a new addition to the team, My Favorite Headache. He came with me on this one and did a great job. I know I mentioned it in the post but I didn't thank him. Thanks MFH!

He was responsible for alerting me to Kawal hiding the flag while I was still fidgeting with the camera. And he also asked a couple of great questions.

I simply stated that these sort of exhibitions where unsavory idiots prance around proclaiming to be in favor of overthrowing the government with arms while quoting Thomas Jefferson are more than likely plants whose purpose it is to cast disdain upon those of us who cherish our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

Not neccesarily, and I didn't originally say that it was. It was only after LCS had lashed out because I questioned the verocity of the demonstrators and explained that MiamiFreePress had driven 300 miles to tape the demonstration that I raised a question concerning that. As I don't know MiamiFreePress from a hole in the ground nor LCS, the thought did cross my mind..

I was just stating that this "demonstration" might have been staged as a means to demonize gun owners along with those who speak out against the powers that be, that's all.

So, I suppose the Branch Davidians really did torch themselves and were to blame for the tragedy, Randy Weaver caused his own problems and his wife got in the way, Clinton was a great president, and Vince Foster shot himself. Oh, and those pesky characters that believe in the Constitution are all domestic terrorists..

Any word yet on whether that Phillipino guy had his visa lifted and was sent back to the Phillipines? He was advocating violence against our government. Any other country that he pulled that stunt in would have sent him packing pronto. Why hasn't he been tossed out of the USA yet?

BS, the main germans who were admitted under Operation Paperclip were Wernher vonBraun and the V2 Rocket team, I first read about Operation Paperclip over 40 years ago.
