We have some more jaw dropping video for you today. It all took place on state property at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg Florida, on March 13, 2002.
My Favorite Headache and I took the trip up to St. Pete expecting the usual U.S. bashing and commie flourishes. But this event also featured the theme of armed violence against the U.S.
Before the event even began, one of the speakers, Kawal Ulanday of the Philippines, hid the U.S. flag that was prominently positioned behind the podium. This would set the tone for the events that would follow.
Once again, I believe the video speaks for itself. And here are two quotes from it:
Kawal Ulanday, Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines:
“For our movement, taking up arms has been a last resort. Where to U.S. Imperialism it’s always been the first resort. And it’s always the people’s last resort. And so that’s where were at, and that’s where were proudly at. Because we will do definitely whatever it takes.”
Penny Hess, Chair, the African People's Solidarity Committee:
“We have to break our allegiance with this system and say, this is some white people that this government can’t count on … and I say all oppressed peoples have the right to bear arms against tyranny and oppression.”

Lucius, or should I call you Lucy for short? I could care less if MiamiFreePress is a paper or a person, the point is that I wasn't even talking about him/she/whatever in my original reply. I simply stated that these sort of exhibitions where unsavory idiots prance around proclaiming to be in favor of overthrowing the government with arms while quoting Thomas Jefferson are more than likely plants whose purpose it is to cast disdain upon those of us who cherish our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Same sort of thing with some of these so called "militias". The words "militia" and "patriot" were transformed from what they once meant into words which conjured up images of raving lunatics (ie. terrorists) with machine guns ready to bring about widespread chaos and anarchy. That is what prompted the "assault weapons" ban...
Additionally, my reference to MiamiFreePress was prompted by your characterization of him as that of someone who all of sudden decided to go record this event out of the clear blue sky, driving 300 miles to do so. If I may ask, how did he know that it was going to be taking place in the first place?
So he is not a paper, he did not just get lucky, he investigated and drove himself to Tampa Bay to get the videotape. Since so much of the media types in this country are at least somewhat sympathetic to this crowd, they are naturally not interested in exposing the facts about them.
Maybe he did just get lucky. And I agree that the media is probably made up of many who sympathize with these types. HOWEVER, how many of those would support the violent overthrow of the UNITED STATES, especially after 911?
Continuing, YOU brought up MiamiFreePress's location in Miami, if it was not signifigant, why did you bring the point up in the first place. If you want to know how he found out about the rally, why don't you ask him, before you accuse him of being a CIA agent.
Well since I don't live in FL, I thought that St. Petersburg was right next to it, hence that is where I thought the demonstration took place. It wasn't until your geography lesson that I wondered why someone would drive 300 miles to go record an event...

You are probably ignorant of the fact that mind control has been very much a factor in intelligence circles since the turn of the century (1900's that is). The Nazis performed a wide range of experiments to see how they could control the human mind, as well as the British, the Soviets, the Japanese, the Chinese, and yes, the United States. In fact, many former Nazis were allowed entry into the United States after WWII under the auspices of Operation Paperclip, where many of the Nazis who experimented on Jews at the death camps were used to perfect the techniques of taking over a person's mind through trauma, hypnotism, and drugs. Just do a web search on MK-ULTRA, perhaps that may enlighten you.

I was just getting my news from the papers and the TV like just about everyone else, so I had an excuse not to see the reality behind things back then. People who DO have access to the Internet and refuse to see that which is obvious don't have that excuse..

Your stating your opinion on this matter does not make it true. There are plenty of traitors, especially on American college campuses. USF in particular is a known haunt of islamist ideologues, in fact they are so well known that they have been featured even in the left-wing mainstream media. Your idea that this has something to do with the defense of our 2nd Amendment rights apparently comes straight from your tinfoil, when chairman Mao said that 'all power comes from the barrel of a gun' he was NOT endorsing American's right to keep and bear arms, and neither are these enemy revolutionaries.

Since this fascinates you so, why don't you ask him, I don't know. My best guess, for what it is worth, is that either MiamiFreePress has contacts on the USF campus who saw notices of the meeting, or notices were put up on the internet or some place in the Miami area. But as I said, I have no factual information on this matter.

Based on my contacts with the news media, I would guess that about half would support the violent overthrow of the government.

BS, the main germans who were admitted under Operation Paperclip were Wernher vonBraun and the V2 Rocket team, I first read about Operation Paperclip over 40 years ago.
