A central detail in James Talarico's political origin story has been questioned in the New York Times just days out from the midterm elections as he battles to become the first Democratic Texas senator since 1993.
Talarico, a former educator who currently serves as a Texas State representative, launched his original bid for office after spending two years in a San Antonio classroom as a Teach For America fellow from 2011 to 2013, when he was in his early 20s.
In his initial campaign, Talarico claimed that he taught as many as 45 students at a time and that classroom overcrowding inspired him to run for office.

The largest class period assigned to Talarico contained 30 students. Most of his classes had between 22 and 27 students, and the smallest group he taught was 17 students.
What the hell is going on over at the NY Times? First the hit piece on Mary Pentola and now this?
Not that I’m complaining.
Murkowski is going to join the Democrats. Anything to stop Trump. Come on Rural Texas voters!
Probably official start figure was right but parents withdrew one student after another due to suspicious touching and cornering by Talarico and children crying about being forced to go back to class. So real class he taught was around 30 students.
((political satire))
I think they’re just trying to look “objective” in ways they know won’t make any difference? Crazed TDS Dems won’t care about any of that
No teacher has had 45 students in one class since nuns became teachers. I think the largest class I was in as a child had about 40 kids.
That number of students went out the window decades ago. Talarico is a liar.
HUH? First the Alaska now jimmy? Who spiked the NYT water cooler?

The answer is that the New York Times knows that the Democrats are going to lose in Alaska and Texas, and therefore they can write these articles to appear to be fair and unbiased.
Are we both deceased and signed in posting like Democrats casting votes from beyond?
It is otherworldly. I thought aliens might be involved
Keep praying
Gee. A serial liar lies. About everything. He is a pathological liar, worse than Bill Clinton ever was.
And this is news to some. They STILL won’t believe it and will vote for him.
It is astonishing, but there it is.
If Lisa Murkowski even threatens to change parties, the republicans in Alaska need to send round a massive recall on her. she is a false Republican and needs to be retired.
What most shocks me about this story is not that Telefreako is lying again (Standard Democrat Operating Procedure) but that the NYSLIMES reported it! That is two stories now where they have broken the narrative. They also reported on how the fake Sullivan was recruited to be on the ballot in Alaska!
Sigh. We already know who and what she is. And she does too. If she decides to change parties, there isn’t much we can do.
But that does define her quite definitively, does it not, were she to do that?
A female who performs a specific task for personal gain or pay.
That’s her.
FYI Ping.
Removal Rules for U.S. Senators
• No Public Recall: The U.S. Constitution does not allow voters or states to hold recall elections for federal officials like U.S. senators or representatives.
• No Impeachment: Long-standing congressional precedent holds that members of Congress are not subject to impeachment because they are not considered “civil officers” of the executive or judicial branches.
• Expulsion by the Senate: Under Article I, Section 5 of the U.S. Constitution, the Senate has the sole internal authority to expel a member, which requires a two-thirds supermajority vote
Where was all of their "hard hitting journalism" months ago when it would have really affected the elections?
Does the Constitution prohibit it, or not mention it - therefore the claim that there is no mechanism for it?
[Who spiked the NYT water cooler?]
We ran a Black Ops Mission
Spiked their Water-cooler
with several doses of
Water-Soluble Truth Serum
We were there to just
shampoo the carpet...
Or so they thought...
