President Trump announced that he canceled planned strikes against Iran on Thursday and claimed Iran's leadership "approved" a draft agreement that would extend the ceasefire, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and launch 60 days of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.
(snip)
The sources said the gaps were narrowed on three key issues:
- The mechanism for releasing Iran's frozen assets — the most important issue for the Iranians.
- Arrangements for reopening the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day ceasefire period.
- How negotiations over Iran's nuclear program would be conducted during the 60-day ceasefire period.

So, in other words, this is a deal about making another deal, that the IRGC has NOT signed off on yet, with a 60-day ceasefire and money to be released up-front.
How is this any different that what Obama and Biden did with their JCPOA?
And why is he even negotiating anyway with these terrorists?
Trump's a total sucker if he thinks this is somehow a good "deal."
Flashback:

“How is this any different that what Obama and Biden did with their JCPOA?”
After all the threats and all the bombing, such a deal could only be described as a great victory for the IRGC.
And we’ll never see that U-235 until it reaches critical mass.

Unfortunately, his entire presidency and frankly the future of the Republican Party are dependent on his decisions on how he handles this situation. I am praying that he is not being played the fool by his “advisors” or “friends” in the Mideast.

Lucy. Charlie Brown. Football.
At last count, Trump has been fooled over three dozen times by agreeing to deals. How many more times is he going to do this?

Arrangements for reopening the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day ceasefire period. How negotiations over Iran's nuclear program would be conducted during the 60-day ceasefire period. So another 60 days of delay even with a supposed deal, UGH

The Iranians learned from history - our history. They are taking a page from the North Viet Nam playbook; Agree to a cease fire to 'negotiate' while building up and restocking defenses, then walking away.
Trump needs to take a lesson from Nixon and just bomb the sh!t out of these lying Pieces of Sh!t. When they're begging to negotiate bomb 'em some more.
When they're begging for surrender tell them there's no negotiation - they exile themselves to france or some other friendly nation with just the rags on their backs and the threat of death followed by burial in a hog pen if they cause any trouble at all.

Its not any different. It’s called capitulation on our part. Claim victory and leave. America is very good at that.

I’m sick to death of this cat and mouse BS, l think we all are. I don’t even listen when Trump says we are hitting them.

Agreed. And I fear that swing voters are becoming exhausted by all this deal/no deal stuff. Meanwhile, gas and grocery prices stay high.
Perhaps those voters are simply impatient, and uninformed. But each one of them has the same number of votes (one) as the most pro-Trump person in the country.

We have to either negotiate or invade the country at this point. There’s really no other choices left if defanging Iran is the real goal.
