A woman fatally shot a man who broke into her home
According to WLOX, 29-year-old Dangelo Murphy was fatally shot by a woman after he reportedly broke into a home while armed with a hammer and a knife.
The report states that law enforcement responded to a home in Gulfport, Mississippi at around 7 a.m. for reports of a man breaking into a home. After reportedly entering the home, the suspect encountered two women, who both had an active protection order out against him, per WLOX.
Authorities said one of the women suffered a knife injury, although women managed to barricade themselves in another room, the report states. The woman who was uninjured retrieved a firearm and opened fire on the intruder, fatally striking him.

“Hey Buddy — don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.”
“It’s OK. I also have a hammer.”
“Well, I dunno ...”
It’s them Boo Boo
Welp! That took care of that problem.
A gun in the hand is better than a single page protection order....every da*n time!
Or at least get a gun to back up any protection order. If you are worried enough to go through the trouble to get an Order, you should be worried enough to purchase and learn to use a gun.

All I have is a previous mugshot , no pic of the perp as a 10 year old.

Agreed.
Outstanding, another (PSH) Public Service Homicide. One and done.
Good shooting Mam!

Anyone who breaks into my home and gets past my dogs will get shot by a .357, then an axe to the brain.

A firearm should be issued, and training immediately provided, to any woman granted a restraining order against a person who has made threats.
How did I already know just from the headline?
Nice. What does Bon of Babble mean?
I love a story with happy ending.
We have close friends whose daughter has a restraining order against her ex. He’s due to be released from prison any day. She’s armed. Her parents and siblings are armed. Every one has their SA in high gear.
He’s tried to kill her once. We know he will try it again. I hope she nails him, or one of the others nail him, before he can hurt her or them again.
He’s missing his mortar board and third grade diploma.
You go girl! Good job!
