For all the talk of the Democrats' gloom at looking at the polls, and despite the presumption that surviving in the most bad-ass way possible being shot, triumphing utterly in a debate and having a convention, you might be a little dismayed looking at the polls. There appears to be no bump. There is.
No-one should be surprised it's rather small; the days of people learning where a candidate stands and making up their minds only during campaign season is long gone.
But while the bump maybe somewhat hidden, Trump has gained a few points in the polls. The only thing is that the pollsters who have released their data are the ones who have been the most negative towards Trump.
Here's who has published polls lately:
CBS moved from Trump up 1 before the debate, to Trump up 2 in a poll taken during the debate, to Trump being up five. That's +4
Emerson had Trump up one, now Trump up four. +3
Morning Consult actually had Biden up one, then Trump up one after the debate, and now has Trump up four. +5
Reuters showed a tie, but now has Trump up 2. +2
Fox had Biden up 2, now has Trump up 1. +3
New York Times went from Trump up 4 to Trump up 6. +2
Over all, he's moved up about 3 points.

Plus, the only horse that might make a difference would be Govs. Beshear (too white) or Shapiro (too Jewish).
But they needed to make that switch weeks ago. And even if they went with Shapiro to shore up PA, the other Blue Wall states are gone.
But they can't go with anyone other than Kamala or else there will be a mass intra-party defection. That's the DEI corner they've painted themselves in to.

On a side note. My wife got an email from relatives in China. Her brother wanted to tell us how glad they were that Trump was not killed last week.
He said people there (Shanghai) feel Trump is a leader and that Biden is senile and dangerous. They are rooting for Trump and hope he wins.

Good point. In addition, it takes time to gin up a campaign and for a candidate to become focused on the demands of the campaign. Meanwhile, the lead for Trump is likely to solidify and grow.

Florida is polling from 4-10 points on multiple polls in favor of Trump who also won 73 out of 100 election simulations run by a group called 538. How is it only light red? Oh well, will concentrate on Election Day.
People root for the home team. In politics, they vote that way. Localy, they kept electing a known child molester because he was a Democrat.
I saw someone on one of the cable networks with a chart that showed Trump 5+ nationally and having him gaining in most of the swing states. I guess it depends on the pollster.
I have faith that election integrity has made gains
I wish I could share that thought. The gains, I think, have been in states with less fraud to begin with...such as NC that now has an ID requirement.
But I am not so sure in states like PA and MI or counties like Maricopa in AZ.
I pray I am wrong...that I celebrate on 11/6 with a nice shot of Blanton’s.

no one that supports Trump ever stops, because once you do you get attacked and have to defend yourself which forces you to dig in.

Lots of people will still vote against the other guy because of hate. Who hates the other person more? How does this fact effect the Electoral College? The media will fan hatred to get viewers. People will be addicted to hate.
