This is the first Fox Poll in six months that shows Biden with a lead over Trump.
These national polls are meaningless beyond giving a sense of what the general public’s momentary opinion of the candidates is. The polls that matter are the state-by-state ones because the President is elected through the electoral college, not a simple majority. Trump won in 2016, despite Hitlery Clinton getting 3 million more votes - a 2% lead.
I fully expect the same to happen this year.
With Biden approaching the nonverbal, genital-grabbing, stage if dementia, and EVERYONE aware of it, just HOW is it possible that he is in a statistical dead heat with Pres. Trump?

Laughable. The Fox poll is routinely the worst/most slanted toward Democrats and most inaccurate after only Quinnipiac.
If anybody doubts that, look at their past polls.
That poll must have been taken in Colorado.
I bet Biden’s numbers look even better after the media tells us how much of a beatdown he gave Trump in the upcoming debate.

In June 2020, Fox showed Biden up by 12. In its final pre-election poll, it had Joe up by 8. He won by 4. If that methodology (including sample and sampling) has remained consistent, anything less than a 4% poll lead may well be a 50-50 popular vote race in November. And Trump secured a decisive EV win despite losing by 2 to Hillary, due to his relative strength in key swing states. To be sure of victory, Biden arguably needs to poll 6 points ahead on Fox surveys.

This appears to be a “general population” poll.
An electoral college prediction poll by state is far more accurate.

Paul Ryan, a very big wheel at Fox, hates Trump. Fox polling has never had a favorable poll for Trump. With Ryan’s influence, don’t be deceived.
Too bad, if it stays close through the summer Biden may just take it. The lawfare is hurting Trump and helping Biden. I was hoping people would see through it. Im not going to discount the poll because I don’t like what it says. Still time to turn it around but Biden at 50 is very disappointing.

Richard Baris pointed out that this particular FoxNews poll is the only poll he has seen where the most important issue for voters was “protecting Democracy.” People vote their pocketbooks.
