It was posited that some survey respondents felt embarrassed about not wanting to put Bradley, who was black, in the governor’s mansion, so indicated they would vote for Bradley even though they actually intended to vote for Deukmejian.
If such a phenomenon actually exists, something similar may be at work here. There might be people embarrassed to say they’re voting for Trump, so say they will vote for Biden. That may be how Biden polled 8 points ahead close to the 2020 election, but only won by 4.

In the other 48 states and the District of Columbia, Trump beat Biden by 37,000 votes.

Richard Baris pointed out that this particular FoxNews poll is the only poll he has seen where the most important issue for voters was “protecting Democracy.” People vote their pocketbooks.
I believe it too. Because polls are to help us swallow the results in November.
They don’t realize how many people actually prefer to wallow in denial. How on the day after, people will start saying “just you wait!” and looking forward to the next election.
And denial will continue even after their free speech and their guns and their jobs are gone. Have nothing and be happy — after all, what can one do, without a spine?
But right now people have no idea how bad it will get; they don’t WANT to know.

Not quite. If you look at the fine print at the bottom of the poll information, you’ll see the respondents were from a jury that was recently dismissed in New York, then the data was extrapolated out to . . .
Fox has always had the worst polls.
