The office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is backed by Soros, is now under fire for allegedly leaking sensitive sentencing information about former President Donald Trump to the far-left media.
In the wake of a trial widely criticized as a sham, where Trump was convicted on all 34 felony charges in a ‘hush money’ scandal, sources suggest that DA Bragg’s office may recommend Trump serve a year at the notorious Rikers Island.
Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime—a practice unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree that something bad happened.

According to Hostin, this recommendation serves not just as punishment but as a stern message to society that such conduct will not be tolerated again.

And prosecutors, when you are recommending a sentence, you are not just recommending a sentence so that they can be rehabilitated or so that they can be punished. You’re sending a message to the community that this is not going to happen again. This is not okay. ”
“The other thing I want to say is that there’s another thing that they will likely recommend is a six-month split, six months at Rikers, and then the rest, five years—four and a half years of probation that is under New York law,” Hostin said.

I wouldn’t put it past him — but jailing the out-of-office candidate for President following an obvious “show trial” **WILL** precipitate a constitutional crisis.
My guess is the Supreme Court will take up a writ from President Trump’s legal team on an emergency basis. They will issue an immediate stay on the jail term and schedule a hearing of some sort at a later date. How late, who knows.
I also presume that the NY appeals courts will be of no help to President Trump period, and certainly not on an emergency basis.
they may take it up based just on the fact that merchan and ilk have violated his 1’st amendment right, and are continuing to- hamstringing Trump from responding to biden during the debates- biden will get to say whatever he wants, and Trump will not be allowed to respond or defend himself verbally-
Such a serious violation needs t be rushed up to the SC-

Another reason to jail Trump immediately is to save Biden from having to debate him due to his declining mentality.
Have you heard the news that Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, is now the co-chair of the RNC? She has a major say in deciding if the convention is moved up or not. Also, at least 80% of the delegates attending the convention are pro-Trump.

I don’t see how that will help. Merchan is itching to jail Trump. It won’t matter much whether Trump is the official GOP presidential nominee or not.
As others have noted, the Supreme Court is the best (and perhaps only) hope.
The powers that be love an unaccountable President with an unreliable memory and doting Media.
They plan on spending many Trillions on the furtherance of socialist Programs and Woke funding in Biden’s second term.
They have no fear whatsoever. There’s effectively no authority to police them.
