I wouldn’t put it past him — but jailing the out-of-office candidate for President following an obvious “show trial” **WILL** precipitate a constitutional crisis.
My guess is the Supreme Court will take up a writ from President Trump’s legal team on an emergency basis. They will issue an immediate stay on the jail term and schedule a hearing of some sort at a later date. How late, who knows.
I also presume that the NY appeals courts will be of no help to President Trump period, and certainly not on an emergency basis.
they may take it up based just on the fact that merchan and ilk have violated his 1’st amendment right, and are continuing to- hamstringing Trump from responding to biden during the debates- biden will get to say whatever he wants, and Trump will not be allowed to respond or defend himself verbally-
Such a serious violation needs t be rushed up to the SC-
“out-of-office candidate”
should be
“out-of-power party’s candidate”
All of New York State is in the Hate Trump camp, only the down and out people are for him. If he goes to jail he will be shived by an assassin—the Final Solution to the Trump Problem. We must be ready for this gut punch, I fear is coming.
