Swing State Poll Shows Trump Trouncing Biden on Inflation and Economy
Breitbart ^ | 05/27/2024 | John Carney

President Biden is facing an American public that trusts his top political rival far more on inflation and economic matters, issues that are likely to loom large in voters’ minds at the ballot booth in November.

A poll released last week from the Cook Political Report, conducted with Democratic and Republican strategy firms, showed that likely voters across seven “swing states” overwhelmingly disapprove of the job Biden is doing on the economy.

RE: Trump Trouncing Biden on Inflation and Economy

But does it translate to votes? That’s the bottom line.

I personally would love to see the Rat Party’s convention to be complete chaos...inside *and* outside! As a matter of fact I can see where the GOP also being chaotic (outside, not inside) just might help DJT among “independent” voters.

This is good news. However, Biden is probably trouncing Trump on abortion among white urban and suburban women.

Had this conversation with a liberal this morning. He brought up the abortion issue. I brought up the issue of illegal immigration.

He agreed illegal immigration will be much more impactful this November for white, black, green with white polka dots, men, women, etc.

Not necessarily. Even among supporters, abortion tends to fade as an issue as economic concerns escalate. With household economic indicators in decline, the political environment is likely to shift further in Trump’s direction.

Now try having this conversation with an unaffiliated white suburban woman. I believe that that cohort considers abortion to be their most important issue. It is more of a visceral response but emotion and feelings seems to be the guiding factor today.

The foreign invader masquerading himself as a judge will put Trump in jail so Biden can reasonably cheat his way back into office.

Its because they can travel to some place where it’s legal for much less than the costs of unemployment and inflation. And they know that no matter what federal laws get passed that there will be States that will continue to have laws/regulations to make Roe legal there.

So yes the Abortion issue costs Republicans around 20% of women during excellent economic times. But that drops drastically when other issues Trump.

Even if Trump gets probation, his travel could be curtailed to New York per the conditions of probation.

That’s awesome news but I am the constant pessimist and worry that Trump’s approval rating has come to soon and might peak and come back down prior to election.

I guess we will find out....likely this week. How the union will not implode is beyond me.

I don’t think anything Biden says or does can change things for him. People have made up their minds on him. It really does come down if people buy into the Trump is dangerous spin or not.

No, the real question is whether the votes will be counted fairly.

I can’t see them restricting travel while his appeal is filed. That would be like giving the Trump campaign rocket fuel with every night hearing how he is a political prisoner.

Well, the left will tack back to “Trump should be treated like everyone else.” The setting aside the imposition of a sentence for a criminal appeal is rare. We shall see. I’m guessing that the unsequestered jurors were told how to proceed once the jury reconvenes.
