The few remaining viewers of CNN got a remarkable dose of news on Saturday.
Just in time for Constitution Day, CNN’s dwindling audience learned that the Consitution of the United States — the oldest written government charter in the world and the document that gave birth to the nation that has spread democracy around the globe — has become so “outdated” that it’s actually a “threat to democracy.”
Of course, that’s democracy as CNN’s scholars understand it. And you can’t spell ignorance without “C-N-N.”
The word came on “Newsroom,” anchored by former CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta. Acosta interviewed two Harvard professors of government who are of the opinion that the grand system of compromise, checks and balances devised by the Founders in Philadelphia in 1787 is as obsolete as the quill pens they used to write it down.
Accompanying the interview was a chyron at the bottom of the screen declaring (in all caps): “Scholars Warn Outdated Constitution Has Put Democracy At Risk.”

Interesting work of propaganda.
In this case, they are essentially correct with their assessment, but not in the manner that they purposely portray this truism as a negative.
Preaching to their base. Democracy is bad, and Federalism is meant to keep Democracy at bay, as history demonstrates why Democracy fails. Mob rule appeals to power hungry tyrants and ignorant, but well meaning (in their opinion), liberals.
What they don’t like specifically about it is the Bill of Rights. Liberals have a different set of things they think should be rights. Such as the right to make others do what you want. The right to take what others have. The right to make other people agree with you. The right to have your delusions forced upon others.
I want to give Jim Acosta the biggest wedgie on live television, ever given to someone in the history of the world.

Makes sense when you reize that to the leftists, “democracy” means government domination over all of society.
Put Acosta in a cage, and ship him to China, where he can enjoy the marxism he so loves.

I think a difference miight be that all the CNN folk really do see the US Constitutiiion as outdated and an impediment to liberal woke policies.
There’s a reason we’ve called it “Communist News Network” for years.
Not a shocker to me.
Its not CNN saying it, its “scholars say”. You can find any leftwing scholar to say anything, its not hard.
