Fresh calls to boycott Bud Light volley across social media nearly two weeks after a product endorsement from Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, set off backlash among some prominent conservatives.
Far-right House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., on Wednesday reposted a video for her 700,000 Twitter followers that featured a rapper in a pro-Trump hoodie burning empty Bud Light boxes. Celebrities Kid Rock and Ted Nugent previously voiced similar messages.
The boycott, which coincides with a conservative push in state legislatures nationwide to restrict LGBTQ rights, is the latest in a string of efforts among advocates on the left and right to damage the bottom line of companies deemed anathema to a given group's views.
However, the campaigns rarely succeed in hurting a company's sales or influencing its decision making, experts told ABC News, adding that they expect the calls to boycott Bud Light to ultimately fade away with little consequence for the brand's parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev.

It depends, of course, on what you mean by "work" - in the sense of raising public awareness of a corporation kowtowing to the Next Big Thing it appears to be very successful already. Nobody realistically expects it to put A-B out of business but you don't have to do that to make your point. And the point here is that corporate management that disregards their principal existing market in a quixotic attempt to expand it into new demographics will pay a price for doing so when it's done so clumsily and disrespectfully.
What I find difficult to understand is why marketeers in general and advertising agencies in particular have so discarded the fundamental rule of knowing their customers. Even the terminology - "influencers" and "opinion shapers" reeks of arrogance and condescension. Give it up, guys - you're here to sell beer, not carry a banner in the Progressive Cultural Revolution.
You should tell her your pronoun is, “one of those”. ;)
so if BL goes extinct but inbev survives
is it a success or a failure?

This tranny might go away, but BL and all of AB-InBev supports this “inclusionary” idea, so it will pretty much stay with the company. We have to stop drinking all the AB-InBev products. All of them. It has to be sustained for a long time. Do we have the wherewithal to do that?
And after beer, they’re going to keep chasing those social credit scores with every type of product. Think about the products you use on a daily basis. Cleaning products, the foods you eat regularly. I have no doubt that some of these companies are already on board with the DEI stuff. If a company has a big presence in NY or CA, those are already the lands of the far left, so anything goes.
This may give us something to focus on for the moment, and it may even get that cross-dresser Dylan out of the way, but I think we’re in big doo-doo if we think much will change. We just have to stand our ground, and see if we can hold out longer than they can. This is a spiritual battle.
In this case there’s no need to ‘call for a boycott’.
I will never buy their crap again, ever! That includes, Monster energy drinks, (my kids) and Corona, (some of our frequent guests). You prefer those drinks when you visit, you buy them.
There is no conversation that need occur for INbev to NEVER receive another dime from me.
ABC says that while stocks are plummeting.
I’ll just assume from this point forward anyone drinking a BL is trans or has tickets to a drag show.
or is trying to shrink their johnson (h/t to a fellow freeper)
The transgender crowd and their ilk are never Bud Light drinkers from what I know. They are all the Stella Artois crowd. Did AB think they were opening a door to a new market by announcing their support? They really just insulted their reliable demographic
BB&B was already on its way out the door. The Mike Lindell thing was their final nail in the coffin as far as their poor marketing decisions.
F** “experts”. They always work if you stick with them until stockholders revolt and clean house.
Well, that’s because liberals protest with violence and murder. Once the person protested against, is dead, the trannys, fags and stoners win.
The experts sure are out in force telling us to stop wasting our time. I wonder why that is? (On a related note, the only AB I’ve had recently was a 12 bottle gift pack of Goose Island about 2 Christmases ago.)

All BS Confirmed
Happened with the NFL didn't it?
They keep trying to tell us that a boycott is useless. Only fags would drink anything Bud now. Let’s see them exist on that sliver of the population.
“Andy Hepburn on a beer can”
LOL Bob, did you come up with that on your own?
Yep...This time, the Holy Spirit gave a good one to me. Use it at will.
