The UN General Assembly this week passed a resolution to characterize the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948 as a “catastrophe,” in what has been heralded as a major victory for pro-Palestinian activists.
The word “Nakba,” which means catastrophe or disaster in Arabic, was also a term coined by the Palestinians to commemorate the Jewish state’s founding.
The UN resolution acknowledges the Palestinian version of the events that led to Israel’s creation, and calls for the “commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Nakba,” with a “high-level event” at the global body on May 15th, 2023. May 15 is the day Palestinians mark the Nakba, which is the day after Israel’s independence was declared in 1948.
Egypt and Jordan have peace treaties with Israel, but that didn’t stop them from co-sponsoring the resolution along with the Palestinians and Senegal, Yemen and Tunisia.
Israel’s new Arab allies from the Abraham Accords, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan, all voted in favor of the anti-Israel resolution.
The U.S. and several European countries, including the UK, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and the Netherlands voted against the resolution.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan called it a “shameful resolution.”

And they probably think the Bible is just a book of fairy tales all the while they themselves fulfill it literally.
A good start...... but now that we know where the mouth of the Nile, we should go to the head waters and draw east from there.
I’ve resolved that the UN is a catastrophe.
Keep posting it Brother. I believe your warnings to be accurate. His perseverance of a false peace covenant certainly adds his name to the mix of possible candidates promoting the spirit of the ac.
The UN doing what it does best, delegitimize a member state, against UN conventions.
The founding of the UN was, and is, a catastrophe.
The real catastrophe was the founding of the U.N.
Name me any war it stopped, prevented or resolved. None. Yet, the pretense was that if the world had the U.N. then arbitration at the U.N. would resolve conflicts before it came to war. Never happened, and in my view the imprimatur of the U.N. was never going to work as it was sold to be. Nations themselves have to resolve their differences and the U.N. was never going to be a force to make nations “behave”.
It is today 100% a waste, and the pretense otherwise is not worth accepting.
Yet “palaeos” insist that “Zionists” run the UN.
“The founding of the UN has turned out to be a catastrophe.”
Ditto that!
Time is running out for those that deny Him and refuse to accept the truth of His word.
"They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee..."
UN building is old ..... hope it doesn’t fall down !!!
This is worth a visit, I couldn’t find the actual resolution, but note of the “adopted without vote” examples.

Israel went from a poor desert country with limited natural resources in 1948 to one of the most amazing first world counties the world has seen. And in less than 75 years.
Israel’s also the only democracy in the Middle East.
And the UN? The UN’s an organization that protects the power of incompetent dictators and totalitarians... shame on them
Hate speech? Let’s be real.
Islam spread by the sword.
Right after Mohammeds death, Islam had the largest, fastest imperialist military expansion the world has ever seen.
In a 150 year period they conquered more lands than the Roman empire, more that the British empire.
In doing their genocides millions of lives were taken, by the sword. Instant converts were spared... Out of the love of Allah.
What’s that expression... Thou shall not kill?
Allah? He’s the other guy.
Israel was created by another UN resolution in November 1947. In fact, the 75th anniversary of it has just passed. The vote was close, and the Philippines cast the deciding vote.
Is the United Nations regretting that resolution now?

Sudanese and Somalis aren’t Arabs. Neither are Berbers in North Africa. And that’s just the Muslims on this map.
Not even close. The River of Egypt is Wadi El Arish, which is a few miles south of the current border. Likewise the northern border was the Litani river in Lebanon. The eastern borders would be in Jordan.

1947-1948 - Forced transfer or mass escape?
Ha’aretz claims that 800,000 Arabs were expelled from the country by the Jews during the War of Independence. The purpose of this lie is to hide the shameful truth: the great majority were not deported but fled on their own initiative

From Hitler to Putin: Palestinian habit of always backing ‘wrong side’
Opinion: In 1940s, then-Palestinian leader Mufti Hajj Amim al-Husseini spent most of WWII in Berlin cheering on Adolf Hitler; now, PA chief Mahmoud Abbas is one of few Arab leaders backing Russia and its ally Iran in Ukraine war

...Al-Husseini also rejected the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine, leading to Nakba, also known as the Palestinian Catastrophe. In the 1960s, then PLO-leader Ahmad Shukeiri, conspired with Jordan, Syria and Egypt to drive away the Jews, leading to their defeat in the 1967 Six-Day War.

A PALESTINIAN MYTH - The so called “NAKBA”
Pierre Rechov, Feb 8, 2009.
According to Palestinians, they were expelled from Israel by the Jewish armies in 1948. A large documentation, and many testimonies from Arab leaders and historians intend to prove that, actually, they fled the zone of conflict because of Arab propaganda, spreading the fake news of massacres... Deir Yassin, among those so said massacres, became a legend. Such as Jenin, and Gaza will be decades later. Pallywood, pallywood.
