In an interview with journalists from the Finnish newspaper 'Helsingin Sanomat', Yevgeny Prigozhin said that many professional army men from NATO countries, including the US Marine general are fighting on the Side of PMC Wagner Group. At the same time, He also stated that a large number of Finnish citizens are fighting in the so-called British battalion as part of the PMC Wagner Group, the commander of which is a US citizen - retired U.S. Marine Corps general. I won’t say for generals in Wagner but there are scores of former Marines in NM DPR, including officers.
My estimation that Russian Military that comes out of the Ukraine war will be far more capable is still correct.
Leveraging soldiers for hire and any real military experience to pull itself out of the soviet collapse will mean it will develop a real world experience army.

If that statement about a Marine General is true (Which to be fair, I do not believe it is), then it is only what we should expect.

You miss the entire point
The war is being won and Russia is losing big time. The war will continue until Russia is unable to maintain troops in the field and the Russian economy shows a spark of life.
