Wasn’t it Biden who waved Putin into the Ukraine when he ok’d a “minor incursion” by Russia?
The Russians are probably going to launch a winter offensive.
They probably intend to cut most of Ukraine off from the EU.
They can’t spare troops for occupation duty so they had to let Kherson go.
And not one keybowrd warrior REMF will have contributed a single thing.
“plebiscites”
Ask the people in countries just west of Ukraine about Soviet era “Ukrainian” “plebiscites” if you are brave.
Turks still await the return of invaded territory seized by Russia long ago that Ukrainians never gave back to the successor of the Ottoman Empire.
Putin can’t afford to lose, and just as the USSR in WWII, he can afford to lose a million or so personnel if that’s what it takes to overwhelm Ukraine.
Putin doesn’t have to worry about optics or popular support any more than Stalin did. The only way Ukraine will win is if Putin is replaced, and that will take either a natural death or a palace coup, like the one that is happening as Disney as we type—and unlike at Disney, Putin can whack all his opponents before they get a chance to overthrow him.
I don’t understand. These people are in a war zone and they are wearing brand new winter coats.
Russia tried to win with about 300,000 troops.
Ukraine, a country of 40 million, drafted its military age males.
Ukrainian troops outnumber Russian troops in the region.
Open borders for the Ukraine
If Soros were winning the propaganda would not be necessary.
George is willing to fight to the last Ukrainian life.
This would be over if oil was only $10 per barrel, Natural Gas was dirt cheap and the Chinese and Russians couldn’t sell their stuff anywhere. Then give Ukraine actual modern weapons like F-15/F-16, M1 Abrams, Patriot missiles, Tomahawk missiles, ect, and direct them to cut off Crimea. (I also give Taiwan and Poland nukes). I also direct Taiwan to shoot down any Chinese aircraft in their ADIZ.
Will the Orcs be changing their user names?
Surprised that Murray didn’t insist on holding the LGBT flag.
The western world is insisting on the total destruction of Russia, and Russia won’t let that happen, at least not without taking the rest of the world with it. All this cheering for Ukraine, which even the IMF has stated is the most corrupt country in Europe, will lead to a lot of heartache for a lot of people outside Russia AND Ukraine.
Given America's track record, the writing is definitely on the wall...
;>)
Notwithstanding FR’s cabal of Putinista’s, I must say that I’m amazed that The Lefties controlling Biden accidentally (I think) got one thing right, or kind of right, when they decided to help the Ukrainians fight off hordes of Russian murderers, rapists and thieves whose tactics of mass destruction and mass murder of innocent civilians equal or exceed Hitler’s.
Yes, there is serious corruption in Ukraine. But, there is serious corruption in the US so let’s not be hypocrites.
Putin is the Hitler of our time and we had no choice but to help STOP and eventually destroy the bastard.
Wake me up when Ukraine controls its own air space. This article is designed to support continued flow of US taxpayer $$$. As US SecDef clown said last week, the New narrative is “as long as it takes”. The US / deep state plan is to keep it going.
IKR, hence why more and more Americans and other foreign ex-service personnel are heading to Ukraine......to fight on the side of the DPR, etc. militia in the Donbass region.

Let me know when Douglas Murray, like Sean Penn, etc., grab an AK-47 or such and actually show their support in the actual fighting instead of holding some flag, kthx.
Of course they are going to win.
The rules of war established after the world wars basically ensure that any occupation will eventually fail if the locals are determined to oust the occupiers.
Since none of the actions required to quash such an uprising are allowed anymore.
I guess this guy know more than:
U.S. privately asks Ukraine to show it’s open to negotiate with Russia
