Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.
When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.
On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.
“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”
With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.
Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.
On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

Every person that wants to know, knows Chow’s connections.
She’s damaged goods, and I once thought highly of her.
What if his big announcement is a agreement to go to the Jan 6 committee in Prime Time?
That would be fun to watch.
Yeah it’s quite sickening to observe.
For me I’m not going back to RINOS especially if they’re just going to ignore all the voter fraud. It will just be a wasted two years of a heated primary only to have the Democrats count for weeks and weeks after Election Day to magically win. We wouldn’t be here pointing fingers at one another if not for these steals.
I never called anyone a name back then.
I really didn’t know for whom to vote. I was skeptical of Trump then as well as everyone else (except I love Ben Carson).
It only makes me hungry.
“I got crucified being Cruz supporter...”
Me, too! I was a Cruzer before I was a Trumpster.
Why aren’t FReepers counting our WINS thanks to President in Exile Trump?
Has there been an ex-’Republican’ president in anyone’s memory that actually campaigned for and helped other MAGA candidates to VICTORY?
Yeesh! Conservative are NEVER happy. Ever! It’s insanity!
(Love your handle. German for, ‘Bat.’ Correct? I was raised with VERY German, VERY involved Grandparents.)
I don’t believe any of the criticisms of his behavior penetrates. He apparently has never listened to ANYONE...He is the perfect example of a schoolyard bully - juvenile calling people names. It hurts to say it but we have to face it!!!!
Trump is a petulant wounded child, lashing out on Republicans. Up next, will he take his little circus to a third party run for President?
WE love it. and I want the "sensitive types" who keep parroting this drivel to be driven out with the scourge...
I neither want nor do we need their support. In fact, the codependency we exhibit to the donor class is the very reason why we are losing, our homes, our faith, our culture our cities and our nation...
Soy boiz and girlz need to excised as soon as and as irrefutably as possible.
There must be NO RECOURSE for return or making nice... with proven traitors.
fact is, name calling works.
I love the guy. He is,by far,the best President of my lifetime (going back to Truman) with Reagan being a somewhat distant second. But if he announces his candidacy I fear...strongly fear...that he'll just hurt the GOP...and the country.
No, it's not a racist slur.
That’s how I see it.
> He was never even close to Reaganesque. <
Well, I will not argue too much against that. As I see it, Trump is 2/3 Patton and 1/3 Reagan. That’s way too much Patton! Patton had Eisenhower to protect him. Trump has no such protector.
So the wild and crazy things that Trump says simply goes out there, unfiltered and unprotected. Chaos results.
Can’t wait to vote for Trump in the primary and general.
This is survivor and he knows how to win.
There are various medical conditions that can cause behaviorial changes, especially in older adults. When has President Trump had a competent medical check-up?
Yes, as close to Bat as possible. No direct translation for Bat. It’s Flying Mouse.
Sounds like you fear the left.
Been trolling long?
