In the graphic you post, the real climate change culprit is the greenhouse gas water vapor produced by the cooling towers

Oh, like trying to inflate their tires with propane? Someone posted a video the other day of two ‘fidiots’ actually trying that. 😲🤔🌋

Just the beginning - but it helps control the peasants. After all if you have to wait a couple of hours to charge your car on a trip then that trip becomes less desirable - particularly if you have to charge it several times.

We once went from Atlanta GA to Mitchell SD in a single shot (never again). As I recall we left about 5AM and got to the motel after midnight. 1230 miles that would be at least 6 charging stops to keep a safety factor on your battery charge - after all if you run out no one is going to come by with a bucket of electrons in western Missouri or eastern Nebraska. I don't remember exactly but figure it took about 20 hours so that's another 12 or maybe even 16 if you follow the battery life maximizing protocol. I suspect that would blunt the desire of the most ardent corn palace viewer to see it.

More & more I think my 2018 decision to buy my Kia Niro PHEV was the right one.

You owe a big “Thank you” to all the tax payers that helped pay for your car. In fact, why not just pay them back?

The California EV propagandists never tell you the percentage of electric power in their state is generated by coal.

EV technology has its place. However, as many here endlessly point out, that place has nothing to do with saving the environment. For the right person, for the right application, EVs make good sense. For instance, one of my neighbors bought an early model small EV, albeit with modest range. They use it for short errands, shopping, and commutes where that limitation is not an issue.. They plug it in nightly to their home charging station, and it adds about $30 a month to their electric bill. That’s less than one fill-up these days.

How long does it take to fully charge an EV? Is it faster than pumping a full tank of gasoline?

Most EV owners will charge it overnight at home so it doesn’t really matter for day to day driving. If you have to find a public charger, like 30-45 minutes to fully charge. Less of course if you don’t have to charge it all the way.

People hate Tesla because they are anti-union.

People hate Musk because he fired his LBGT agitators.

Car dealers hate Tesla because they eliminate the middle man.

Car dealers hate Tesla because of the reduced service visits.

Which category are you in?

See my post 26.

I filled up my Jeep yesterday in less than 5 minutes.

That gives me around a 300 mile range.
