Folks picked up the bad habit of driving wherever they wanted whenever they wanted.

15 cars waiting to use 13 chargers. An extra 20-minute wait sucks, but hardly invalidates the technology; it’s not as if I’ve never waited 20 minutes for gas. If that were the norm, that’d be a problem. The fact that this doesn’t appear to be an interstate station makes me wonder why they can’t use their home charger or, if they have one, work charge.
I hate Tesla because Musk is working with .gov to slam dunk this technology down our throats.

Hmmm…my pool pump costs $70 per month to run about 8 hours a day. This draws more electricity for more hours to charge. Driving two cars at $5 a gallon for gasoline, my monthly gas bill is around $130.
That tells me I would spend AT LEAST as much for electricity alone per month right now to charge electric vehicles at home as I do on gas today. Probably more. And electricity is going up every bit as fast as gas.
I’m not seeing any benefit whatsoever…only massively magnified inconvenience. Which is something I don’t have time for in my life.

Looks like “charging time” needs to include how long one sits in line waiting to plug in. Are charging stations being added as fast as EVs?
My little town has one charger. When in use it’s usually the same car sitting there getting charged. I guess we have an EV in town.
Don't get like the s***-posting twins and fail to do proper due diligence on post origin and content. Not everything is as advertised in the headlines, although you and every other Freeper may simply believe it.
And you'll note one of the twins 'quit' this site in late May.

Musk is a genius providing cutting edge technology. He has resisted government efforts to unionize Tesla and actually fired LGBQ activists.
He should be praised, not hated.

My F150 twin turbo F150 has a range of 1000 highway miles, about 750 if it only got driven in the city. Takes about 5-6 minutes to fill it though.
filled my pickup and got a pack of smokes in under 5
500 mile range
