Hmmm…my pool pump costs $70 per month to run about 8 hours a day. This draws more electricity for more hours to charge. Driving two cars at $5 a gallon for gasoline, my monthly gas bill is around $130.
That tells me I would spend AT LEAST as much for electricity alone per month right now to charge electric vehicles at home as I do on gas today. Probably more. And electricity is going up every bit as fast as gas.
I’m not seeing any benefit whatsoever…only massively magnified inconvenience. Which is something I don’t have time for in my life.

That is providing that there is no line at the charging station if you are away from home.
Are those times from fully discharged?
