The editorial board of the University of Virginia’s newspaper has called to remove references to University founder and Founding Father Thomas Jefferson.
The University and the greater Charlottesville, Virginia, area in which it is located has taken it upon themselves to be defined not by academics, or history, or any other trait. Rather, those in charge of local government and University administration prefer to be defined by a single characteristic: the August 12, 2017, “Unite the Right” rally.

UVA Class of 1973: NO to this wokeness!
UVA needs to be more like Hillsdale in its Admissions.
All references to all imperfect people should be removed from the UVA campus.
They could then devote their studies to the only perfect one.

We have to push back, very, very, very hard. Give and inch and 1000 miles is demanded. Give in to nothing, and start banning their icons (Stalin was a killer; the Bolsheviks were killers, Marx was a lazy unaccomplished but angry ‘white man’ with daddy issues).
They cannot be allowed to change even the littlest things moving forward. If you let them cancel history, they will rewrite it into an unrecognizable lie.
