Friends creator Marta Kauffman has atoned for the sitcom’s lack of diversity by pledging $4 million to her alma mater, Brandeis University, to establish an endowed professorship in the school’s African and African American studies department.
The result: glowing mainstream media coverage and social media feedback.
In a mea culpa with the Los Angeles Times, Marta Kauffman prostrated herself before the diversity police, saying she is “embarrassed” by the lack of minority characters in Friends.

They could probably go back and digitally insert meaningless black characters into the original show. Hollyweird is good at propaganda, then just say, “there were always black characters in Friends, here’s the proof. You just don’t remember.”
To many there to be "Friends" so the show would have to be "Distant Acquaintances".

If he wants to fritter it away “helping” others to become angry and entitled race hustlers that’s less odious than government spending money for that.
“Diversity” is code for “Kill Whitey.”

And as someone else noted, there were some jokes about homosexuality in that show? I never saw the show but don’t know. Anyway, with all this LGBT business nowadays, any such jokes about such people is a crime against humanity nowadays.

No one in a wheelchair? No epileptic fits? None of the kids were autistic? No mixed race babies? Oh, the horror!

Maybe they can pay for field trips to newark, Oakland, and Chicago south side.
I only saw about three episodes of the show. Did Ross ever marry Monica?

Maybe that explains why the show was so popular (not with me). They didn’t artificially inject race into every situation, which would’ve driven away many viewers.
