CNN's Jarrett: Screw 'Civility,' Protests Outside Justices' Homes Are Fine
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 05/09/2022 7:25:42 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

On this morning's New Day, CNN reporter Laura Jarrett, daughter of former top Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, supported pro-abortion protests outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court Justices. She claimed that a conversation about civility "misses the mark."

Substitute host John Avlon actually tried to frame the conversation around where the line should be drawn when it comes to protests, but Jarrett would have none of it.

"I think for a lot of people, a conversation about civility feels like it misses the mark when constitutional rights that you believe that you had for over 50 years are about to be overturned."

Wonder how CNN’s Laura Jarrett, daughter of Obama consigliere Valerie, would react if pro-life people doxxed and loudly protested outside the homes of the liberal Justices?

Probably pretty much the same as their response to protestors on J6.

And I believe that if an angry mob showed up at my house that my 2d Amendment right, which we've had for over 200 years, should be free to exercise.

I say that every day. How easy it is to be Democrat. They can do just about anything and be praised for it. They love to break the law cause when they get away with it they think of that as a big middle finger to us!

She doesn’t look very smart so I’ll explain it simply: Civility and rule of law make living here peaceful. Peace is a great thing, think candy, rainbows and free shit from the government.

The opposite of civility is bad. Think Waffle House closed, or your favorite rapper going country & western. Or not enough likes on your tik tok video - or having to get a real job. Bad stuff.

In fact think about what happens when peaceful, contributing, law abiding citizens are pushed too far? Not there yet? Think about demographics (you may need to look that word up) and characteristics of those civil people who’s lives you would turn upside down. Still not there yet? Read ‘The Awakened Saxon’, should take just a minute but give yourself 30 just... because.

Here’s a spoiler, be careful what you ask for. Oh, and get a real job. Be law abiding and civil. Please.

Incivility is the essence of anti-Americanism.

The Bill of Rights insured a civil society, and were the guideposts of American culture for hundreds of years. No longer. The Dems have devised state a of tyranny that wouldn’t exist if the Bill of Rights were still given due respect.

I......Freedom of Speech? Infringed. Rampant media censoring.
II.....Right to bear arms? Infringed. Limited more every year.
III....Quartering soldiers? This one still OK.
IV....Unreasonable searches? Common. Data snooping.
V.....Self-incrimination? The ultimate goal of an FBI interview.
VI...Trial by jury? Highly discouraged.
VIII.Excessive bail? No bail for political prisoners.
IX....Unenumerated rights? Covid-19 lockdowns, anyone?
X.....Limited Federal powers? No, not much limitation these days.

She's all talk. By enflaming the rhetoric, she hopes to have the dim-wits do what she won't.
Only way this stops is when their pocketbook is affected.

Black leftists with low IQ acting all serious

It always cracks me up

Like Cornel West

They simply don’t project like Clarence Thomas or Thomas Sowell

They come off as stereotypical minstrels or barkers

should have been “devised a state of tyranny”

and...

VI....Speedy trial? J6 has made a joke of this.
VII...Trial by jury? Highly discouraged

[[The abortion insurrectionists are breaking the law by intimidating judges]]

Heck, they inti instead jurors too in the Chauvin case. Thr left can do whatever they want, even break the law. They can also, turn around and invent things to accuse their opponents of, and throw their opponents in solitary confinement for over a year for nothing but peacefully protesting

The left have waged a hostile takeover of this country

If I lived close enough to do it I’d join you. I’m sick of this crap and what I’ve learned recently with bullies is the only time they learn a lesson is when they get punched in the nose (or some other body part).
