A Texas judge invited Disney to move from Florida amid its ongoing feud with Gov. Ron DeSantis. In a letter addressed to Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek, Fort Bend County Judge KP George invited the company to consider Fort Bend County as "a welcoming and diverse place to do business."

And folks think that Texas is going to remain the “Conservative, Red State” it’s touted to be for how much longer?

Texas has two of the ten largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. and four of the 30 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S.

‘Judge’ in Texas is more of a mayor for a whole county, not a judge as in a court.

In rural Texas counties, county judges also sit as court judges in some cases (mostly misdemeanor criminal, appeals from JP court, and uncontested probates). Fort Bend is not one of those counties.
