Neil Young has posted an open letter to his management team and record label demanding that they remove his music from Spotify. “I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” he writes. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”
“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” he continues. “They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.” Young is referencing the steady stream of misinformation about vaccines that Joe Rogan has peddled on The Joe Rogan Experience. Last month, 270 doctors, physicians, and science educators signed an open letter asking Spotify to stop spreading Rogan’s baseless claims.

Wow, you come a long way, baby.
Fight the power, man.
“If a beginning teenage guitarist shat out a Neil Young cover in a forest, and there was no one around to hear it, was there any music really played at all?”
All leftists are fascist at heart.
"Neil Old"
BUh bye Neil.
For about 3 years in the 1970s....I listened to Neil Young tunes all the time. Don’t think I’ve heard a single one since 2000. Doubt if anyone under the age of 30 would even know the guy.
Old man look at your at life I am not like you
Thang God
Nor do ‘Northern man’.
So, were all these folks brought to you by Pfizer and Moderna?
I think he is by far the best of CSNY. He was good with Buffalo Springfield prior to CSNY. He was good with Crazy Horse after.
I have to confess,Neil Young Decade was the FIRST album I ever bought. I still have it in stereo cabinet.
“Powderfinger” is a classic. One of my personal favorites.
I guess I will have to download his music before I lose it on my Spotify account.
FYI, a few years ago I was on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. About a 1/2 mile north of our hotel was a well known spot that the sea turtles would hang out at. Mrs Woodbutcher and I walked up. There were about six turtles hanging out in this very shallow ocean front pool.
Neil Young's former house was right there too. It was at south end of a dead end road with a gate at the end blocking the road. His former house was about 20’ from the beach. He had sold it because too many tourists were always hanging out in front of his house.
No thanks, you can keep him. We have too many idiot champagne socialists already in PRC (Politically Repressive Canada).
*** Darryl Hannah married the fat old Canuck blob for his money. ***
Won once when she didn’t go missing with JFK Jr. so she parlayed it into
being Mrs. Young. Where’s Neil in the Death Pool? Before or after Prince
Charles?
I’d rather listen to Joe Rogan.
I guess Young picked his hill.
Like most Canadians, he dislikes the USA but drinks heartily from our markets and power.
Like most Canadians, he takes servings of LA or Florida at will, with glee, never missing a moment to criticize his hosts.
Like most Canadians, he speaks in haughty tones about human rights but adores Cuba and vacations there because his Canadian dollar goes so far in that third-world communist wasteland.
Like most Canadians, he believes his rights are for he, but not for thee.
But over the years I've grown more appreciative of Steven Stills and Graham Nash while David Crosby descended into WTF-ville.
Granted, Young Neil is way better than Springsteen (though that's setting the bar low) and I'll listen to him before RATM. And I am probably hypocritical for turning off Neil's music and turning on NFL playoff games.
That all said, points taken and I still rank him as #3.
Never cared for any of his music. I still don’t know why all the fuss about his ratty guitar tone either.
I hope Neil Young will remember...
Well, bye.
“I’ve seen the needle and the damage done.”
