Don Lemon praises Biden admin’s work on gas prices

CNN host Don Lemon celebrated that the national average for gas prices was “easing up” — after it was revealed that the Biden administration reportedly had secret talks with media outlets to push for more positive coverage about its handling of the economy.

“Big economic relief for millions of Americans who have been dealing with soaring energy prices. The price at the pump is finally easing up,” he said on “Don Lemon Tonight” on Tuesday.

Lemon said that AAA data showed that the price per gallon was at $3.35 — the lowest since October — and noted that forecasts showed it could drop to $3.01 by January.

$3.75 here the other day, now down a whopping 7 cents, but still up almost $2.00 since Biden took over because of his asinine assault,on fossil fuels, and the left are excited about this?

Prices in my town (nw Arkansas) have fallen about 30-cents in the last 4 weeks, but it is still about $1 higher than when Biden took office.

This sort of reminds me of a pattern I saw in gas prices in the 70s and 80s:

Prices would increase a few cents at a time up to around 25-cents, then a few months later, decrease a few cents at a time up to around 15-cents.

A few months later, prices would increase a few cents at a time up to around 25-cent, then a few months later, decrease a few cents at a time up to around 15-cents.

[Notice how the prices had inched up 10-cents and then another 10-cents, but consumers were so happy with the 15-cent declines, they didn't seem to notice they were still paying more.]
