Whose Land Did Native Americans Steal Before Europeans Stole It From Them?

We all know that history is not the left’s favorite subject. Many times, it’s just too inconvenient for their political narratives. Often, history has to be erased or submerged in order to achieve the “greater good” of creating a just and moral society.

In truth, it’s not much better on the right, although generally, the conservative take on American history is more nuanced. Christopher Columbus was an ass — a greedy, cruel, ambitious man who didn’t let anyone stand in his way to achieving riches and power, especially native people. But he was courageous enough to cross an unknown ocean in a rickety ship and with a mutinous crew.

Do his sins outweigh the good he’s done? Not our call. And certainly not the call of biased, cretinous leftists who don’t want to understand Columbus and only use his sins as illustrations in their little morality plays to condemn the entire “Age of Exploration.”

American history did not begin in 1492. There have been human beings residing in North America for at least 20,000 years and probably longer. But the people who crossed the Bering Sea land bridge from Asia to North America during the last Ice Age may not have been the first humans to arrive here. Recent DNA evidence shows that there have been several different migrations to North America with Native American tribes only being the most recent.

And that leads to the inescapable conclusion: the Native Americans who were present on the North American continent when Europeans arrived were not the same Native Americans who arrived 20,000 years ago. DNA evidence tracks the migration of one early American civilization — the Clovis people, so-called because the first tools and weapons were found in Clovis, New Mexico —

There is actually a secret beneath the secret—white leftist historians are denying ancient peoples in the Americas any history at all.

The history of the human race is brutal and ugly—much worse than the “official historians” want to admit.

There have never been any clean hands—only lots of liars who wrote history.

We may have stolen their land and killed a bunch of them but the Indians introduced smoking tobacco to the Western world so I'd say we're pretty much even.

We gave them smallpox, they gave us lung cancer, so we're square now.

We didn't steal it. It was basically unoccupied. Read the Journals of Lewis and Clark (or Undaunted Courage) and see how rare their encounters with Indians were as they journeyed from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean.

"Hmmmm, if that’s the case blacks owe reparations to all white people."

African tribes captured their neighboring enemies, and sold them to the white slavers. They owe their own people reparations. And as they sent many of their own kind to die in slavery in strange lands, they continue to kill each other in the streets of America every day.

The only difference between European civilization and others is that Europeans had the wherewithal and inclination to record their conquests.

“There is actually a secret beneath the secret—white leftist historians are denying ancient peoples in the Americas any history at all.”

That is completely absurd. Leftist historians are REWRITING the Indian/Native Anerican history to make them look purer than the driven snow. Hollywood movies, news articles, the music industry, etc, etc, etc, etc, have only one message: Columbus brought in all of the evil to what had been humans in the Americas living in harmony with nature and each other.
Caucasians are the root of all the pain and suffering since 1492. Everyone in today’s society are bombarded hundreds of times each day with this message in open and subliminal forms.

Didn’t the Aztecs conquer and enslave the Olmecs? Who knows who they conquered.

The Aztecs had only been around for about 400 years before the Spanish showed up.

The Iroquois were a confederation of tribes. The English called them the Five Nations, comprising the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca (listed geographically from east to west. They didn't form this confederacy because of a fondness for drum &poetry recitation circles. They did it for war both defense and offense. The present hippie fascination for for Indians is an insult to Indians !

True. I came upon some detailed research articles and book excerpts a professor ordered on interlibrary loan. Torture was common.

Now we’re supposed to believe they were one with nature and sat outside after dark gazing at the stars in mindfulness sessions. Right.

loL... Indians stole each others land all the time. Many or most tribes loved going to war. And SURPRISE! War was not always over hunting grounds and water. War was often promoted and fomented by the young braves, who gained higher tribal status by being a successful warrior.

Higher tribal status meant more sex partners. One objective of Indian wars was to kill the other tribe’s men and to capture their women, to make into your tribe’s sex partners and wives. The young boys were turned into your tribe’s warriors. So that your tribe increased in warrior numbers to expand even more via war.
