I thought juries instructed to consider the higher charge & stop if all in agreement. Why all 3 guilty?

I am sure the juries are aware of the threats and the judge’s note of potential mistrial. It wouldn’t surprise me that they opted for guilty to be done with it and let the courts sort it out, even by a future retrial. They go home without threat of violence to themselves or their families.
