s: JURY HAS REACHED VERDICT IN FORMER MINNEAPOLIS POLICEMAN DEREK CHAUVIN'S MURDER TRIAL -COURT
Exactly
Agree. Although I didn’t watch the testimony, I read quite a bit. I think manslaughter was a fair charge.
He *might* had done better -- maybe -- if he hadn't stared into the camera the whole time he was kneeling on George Floyd's neck, with that sh*t-eating smug grin on his face.
...I don't understand all the haste to arrest over a mere bad $20. Did they think he was part of a counterfeiting ring? Why not just write him a summons / ticket or something?
It is confusing. Each charge has its own definition. It seems logical the jury would pick one and not the other two.
yeah regardless the cockroaches which is what they are, want their freebies
Burn it down anyway.
Yup, there will still be riots because Maxine said it should be first degree murder
Our court system works... good for the jury.
So what can one conclude going forward? The other arresting cops are accessories to a murder? Guess what — they’re gonna get hit with those charges too.
Just an observation, but most jurors are not what one would consider Valdectorian material, either!
How in the world could you possibly have looked for a not guilty after those jury instructions??? The jury instructions were a slam dunk for guilty. They basically said: was there an act that led to death and did Floyd want that act committed upon his person? If the answers are yes and no, respectively, then it is murder. I know it sounds ridiculous but that is what the jury was instructed and all of the panel on Court TV was shocked the defense did not object.
good result to see the rule of law going down in flames?
Makes no sense. How can you be found guilty on varying degrees of murder/manslaughter.
= = =
They forgot to add in Climate Carbon violations.
They fed the sharks. Nobody should be surprised now if it's open season on cops now that there's blood in the water. I see no reason why a cop would continue to serve in a city that wants them dead.
OJ in reverse is exactly what I told my wife before I got off the phone w. her and headed into Wegman’s, where I can only count on FR to continue with the up to the minutes news of the verdict.
It says click bait.
But was the blog wrong? Right?
Emotions are high. Even at FR headquarters.
You are entitled to your opinion—but bet you wouldn’t like it if a mob that disagreed with you burned down your neighborhood.
Context matters.
That is why it is reasonable to suggest that the jury was intimidated.
It was pure common sense for the duration of the trial and any other verdict would have been shocking. Justice has been served and an evil and inhumane POS cop is off the streets.
Absolutely
FRY him then!
