I'll be getting the vaccine, both doses, and will plan accordingly. Everyone can make their own decision, at least at this point. Biden takes office, all bets are off.

It’s already started - airlines, and soon cruise ships simply won’t permit un-vaccinated passengers. I guess people can complain to Biden (assuming he takes office), but we all know how far that will get them.
I got the flu vaccine, and I had my first dose of the shingles vaccine this year. Unpleasant for a day, runny nose and headache, but not a big deal. If that’s what we’re talking about for the Wuhan virus vaccine, I don’t see what there is to discuss - who cares?
I am not an anti vaxxer although I won’t be getting the shots. I have never had a vaccine shot and I have never contracted a flu. Of course I have probably jinxed my self but that remains to be seen.
That said since when does any medication offered not have attending warnings or possible unwanted effects?

I WILL NOT be taking any vaccine until my scientist friend down in San Diego, who is actually working on COVID vaccines, says that she will vaccinate both her 6 year old son and herself. As of now, she says she will not be taking this vaccine that has been rushed for a disease that will have little to no effect on her or her son. She does not trust the vaccine and how quick it has been pushed out there. Neither do her co workers. Thats good enough for me!
The bad news: the vaccine give you really bad symptoms.
I won’t be taking this shot until others have been the guinea pigs for at least a year.
I don’t care who pushed for it or against them, or who made it, this happened too fast.

There’s a reason they cut back on those as soon as they could. It killed, and paralyzed people - just at a much lower rate than polio.
Not getting vaccine. Never do. I keep my immune system healthy, have for the last 40 years.
As for “side effects,” the one time I got a flu shot, I got a horrible case of flu. Since then, I’ve never had flu—and that was decades ago.
My friend works as a caregiver and she’s a total believer in shots. She has to be, her clients already have compromised health. My daughter was a smoker, had a horrible case of pneumonia, on ventilator in hospital for a week a few years ago. She has to be very careful. Fortunately, she works at home and her husband does the shopping.
so I think shots are up to the individual. My doctor understands my point of view, says I’m incredibly healthy, will live to be 100.
That is assuming the vaccine ever gets widely distributed in the US. I’ve taken every vaccine I could have gotten over time. Have to say this mRNA technology is a bit concerning.
