Catholic First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, has come out in support of the GOP LGBT group, Log Cabin Republicans.
In a video which has been seen over 250,000 times in less than 24 hours, Mrs. Trump explained that her husband, the president of the United States who is now vigorously campaigning for reelection, is the ultimate outsider, and that earned him many enemies in the political establishment.
I was shocked to discover that some of these powerful people have tried to paint my husband as anti-gay, or against equality. Nothing could be further from the truth, asserted Mrs. Trump. Donald loves helping people, and he loves seeing those around him, and his country, succeed.
As leader of the Republican party and president of the United States, Donald has been clear that gays and lesbians will be treated as he has always treated them: equally, she continued. Donald is the first president to enter the White House supporting gay marriage. Donald is also the first president to appoint an openly gay official to his cabinet.
Today we see free-thinkers and independent voices like gay conservatives and Log Cabin Republicans silenced, censored, and bullied by cancel culture mobs, she said.
Im First Lady Melania Trump. I support the Log Cabin Republicans, and I am unapologetically outspoken, she added, incorporating the name of the Log Cabin Trump campaign site, OUTspoken.
Mrs. Trumps expressed support, while firmly stated, focuses not on specific issues popularly associated with the leftist LGBT juggernaut, but on the right of gays with libertarian or conservative views to not have their voices silenced, and to not be ignored by mainstream media.
In recent weeks the Trump campaign has shifted into high gear regarding its outreach to voters that identify as LGBT, a group which the GOP had essentially ceded to the leftist Democratic Party.
While clearly having brewed behind the scenes for a long time, the Trump campaigns outreach to the LGBT world exploded into the public square in August when Richard Grenell, President Donald Trumps former acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Ambassador to Germany who identifies as a homosexual, proclaimed in a video ad that President Trump is the most pro-gay president in American history.
That video quickly garnered millions of views.
Since then, the outreach to homosexuals has remained at a high level of visibility, with Brandon Straka, the gay founder of the Walk Away movement joining with Grenell and members of the Trump family at TRUMP Pride events which have been held at cities across the country, including Nashville, Tampa, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Saturday evening in Pittsburgh.
Earlier this month, at a debate titled LGBT Throwdown, right-leaning Straka, Blaire White, and Mike Harlow easily crushed the tired arguments and long-held Human Rights Campaign pretensions of their three leftist debate adversaries.
Full transcript of Mrs. Trumps unapologetically outspoken pro-gay remarks:
America is a place where you can be anything you want. Your opportunities are endless because our country provides so many chances to succeed.
As First Lady of the United States, I know how much my husband loves the American people and I know his passion in life is to see all the citizens of this great country do well and prosper.
Donald is the businessman who never worked in politics. The ultimate outsider, and that earned him many enemies in the political establishment.
I was shocked to discover that some of these powerful people have tried to paint my husband as anti-gay, or against equality. Nothing could be further from the truth. Donald loves helping people, and he loves seeing those around him, and his country, succeed.

The story of America is one of trailblazers and fearless underdogs. Today we see free-thinkers and independent voices like gay conservatives and Log Cabin Republicans silenced, censored, and bullied by cancel culture mobs.
This is not the America any of us want to live in. America was founded on God-given rights of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of expression. We are a nation that celebrates and protects diversity and we condemn those who bully and intimidate people.
We do not want to live in a place without freedom, where everyone is forced to think alike.
My husband sees the promise of America and all her citizens moving onward as we recover from many challenges. Even if you dont agree with my husband about everything, you have the right to say it. That is the American way; lets protect it.
Im First Lady Melania Trump. I support the Log Cabin Republicans, and I am unapologetically outspoken.
God bless you all. And God bless our beautiful nation.
Also, John 8:1-11.
The New Testament supercedes the Old. And the Israelites of the Old Testament got their butts kicked *repeatedly* for being judgy arsehats.
You are a DB.
Indeed. A hypothetical if I may. Replace the thief on the cross with a homosexual. Everything else being the same, does our Savior save that sinner? I believe yes.
Trump has always been supportive of gays. He’s hired openly gay people in major positions. He just doesn’t support gay marriage.
“And the Israelites of the Old Testament got their butts kicked *repeatedly* for being judgy arsehats.”
Right. The Pharisees. God told them to “judge not” in a certain context.
I go to: “Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Romans 12:9”. It requires you to make judgments often — be discerning.
Never giving an inch never ever works.
If it helps get Trump reelected and gives us a majority in the Senate, then State Laws against abortion might actually be upheld by the supreme Court.
And our country won’t burn down in flames at which point it won’t really make a damn difference who is gay or not.
As for judgment, I’ll leave that to God.
He’s much better at it than me.
Jesus came for the sinners. Love the sinner hate the sin. Glass houses... take your pick. Hate earns you nothing.
It is a concept foreign to many self righteous folk. I cannot go one hour while awake without sinning in actions or thought. Try it some time. Consciously think about what you do and think up and keep a record, you’ll be shocked at what a jerk you are even if you want and try your best to be good.
Of course homosexuality is a sin. Of course they will answer for it like everyone else will for their sins. But I am not the judge of their sins and as long as they do not do anything that has a direct impact on my life (harms me), I have no business going after them as this would be “persecution.”
Where things get muddy is that today you have the gay agenda which is pushed in schools, Hollywood, now with LGBTQA month in June, special perks with the Ryan White Act, gay parades, public gay symbols worn etc... If you stick your life into people’s faces, you will get challenged by those that have differing views, and they have that right if you make it a public matter because their values and ideas are just as valid as yours. Just like a homo has the right to wear a gay button, someone has the right to say to them that this disgusts them. Not sure if that makes any sense?
I believe you are correct - in fact, I’d expect that He would save *any* ultimately repentant sinner nailed to the cross beside him, no matter his offense. Consider that the thief on the cross was thought to be a highwayman who waylaid, robbed and killed travelers, an offense far worse than homosexuality, and Jesus saved him.
Think Ric Grennell and be happy. He has done us great good.

Funny, I thought they got canned for being permissive and indifferent to God’s edicts not for strictly adhering to them. Ya might wanna check that translation of the Old Testament you’ve been reading.
I shall say, however, that I can tolerate the whole LGBTXYZ nonsense as long as government isn’t compelling us to endorse it. As long as that is the case then....meh...I don’t care. But it’s just a matter of time before some Dem becomes president again and the whole persecution will begin again. I’m not sure how long those who desire a society free from secularist persecution will tolerate it.
The NT absolutely does not supersede th OT, except in the case of the Passover feast due to the Lamb’s sacrifice. One quarter of the NT is quotes from the OT. Jesus Himself said “the Scripture cannot be broken” when referring to the OT (John 10:35).
Be discerning, yes. But not judge.
I think the Trumps have struck the right balance of honoring equality without caving to political correctness :)
Romans 12:9 is (as with many items in Paul’s letters incorporated into the Bible) somewhat at odds with many things Jesus himself said in the Gospels themselves. Of course, you shouldn’t go hang out with the Crew of Evil, yet Jesus also tells us to not hate our fellow sinners.
Also, it wasn’t just the Pharisees getting a size 12 sandal shoved where the sun don’t shine in the Old Testament. There’s a reason Moses had to lead them out of slavery.
Fun and unrelated fact: There’s an account in the Bible of what appears to be biological warfare.
” Does that stop she. the child leaves the womb ir is it ok to murder 5 year olds as well?”
Not until they are 65+ then you can douse them with covid.
Alleluia. The Good News.
So, we’re supposed to be keeping Jewish dietary laws? That’s the Old Testament too, and yet I see Christians eating pork...
Does the fertility problem really have much to do with gays or might it be be more of an issue with the 95% of people who have a desire for the opposite sex?
