I crossed the Mason-Dixon line today, driving north on Route 30 from the Baltimore area into Pennsylvania. I drove through farmland, side streets, developments, etc. Not unexpectedly, there were a healthy smattering of Trump signs/flags, but not as many as you would expect in this rural, pro-Trump area. What was striking, however, were the number of American flags that were out in front of houses. A couple of suburban developments south of Hanover had probably one American flag for every 5 houses, and there was probably a Trump sign/flag one to every 12 houses.
Weirdly, I saw zero Trump bumper stickers in my 2 hour drive through Trump country (I saw zero Biden anything all day). Additionally, there were a smattering of other possibly "shy" Trump supporters, e.g., thin blue line flag, "vote freedom," etc. Bottom line: I thought the Hanover, PA area was celebrating the 4th of July--that's how many flags were out in yards and on houses. Has the American flag replaced Trump signs?
People are deathly AFRAID to put up Trump signs MY GOODNESS someone just had the garage and cars burned to the ground because of their sign FRET NOT Trump supporters are there MORE than in 2016!
We had a makeshift Trump caravan in Bullhead City, AZ yesterday. Only started talking about it like 10 days ago. We had about 500 cars show up.
Wow! In New Jersey, 2K population is an apartment complex
Bumper stickers are passe. More people are using magnets they can take off when need be.
LOL! My Cow Town is 283 people. That’s not including the cows - they greatly outnumber the people!
What’s an ‘apartment complex?’ (Just Kidding.)
If you are flying the stars and stripes, you are not voting Democrat.
BLM and gay flags are NEVER at the same house as an American flag.
People are in favor of America, or not.
Indeed.
Yeah. Colors of death and decomposition.
I love these "Shy Trump 2020 Voter" signs. They're everywhere!

If they have courage to do this, then why not us?”
We get the fake aggressive but, we just love them back
Don’t get me wrong; I’m bolting outta here first chance I get! What you’ve got is what I want.
I bought a Trump flag off the campaign website. Still waiting a month later.
Drove around yesterday and saw only one Trump/Pence sign. I do think folks know their sign/property may be damaged if they display their support. I have my flag up, as I do 24/7/365.
Rural Life Rocks. :)
I’m in the burbs outside Seattle, so while I’m not in the belly of the beast, it’s close.
A smattering of Biden/Harris signs. Rarely see a Trump sign. The virtue signalling “we believe” signs are more common, but are not always seen at the same house.
When I commute to Seattle, I see more of the Virtue signs, slightly more Biden signs, and a few “ByeDon” signs, but certainly not a lot of them. In short, even in progressive Seattle there is little enthusiasm for Biden that isn’t fueled by hatred of Trump.
I have a flag flying 24/7 with lighting. Haven’t noticed an increase in Old Glory but I haven’t really been looking.
One thing I have noticed that in the burbs, BLM signs are coming down.
Yes, and in my area of PA it is Kathy Barnett signs. She is a black conservative running for congress. She has been knocking on doors, particularly homes with BLM and dem signs.
That might be Vendomes doing. Hes been arranging the Trump festivities on the Bear Creek Road overpass by Lexington Reservoir on 17.
This was several weeks back, here on an FR thread where a journalist made a report on a person with a Trump t-shirt. The shirt actually had an American flag on it with nothing indicating it to be a Trump shirt.
The point was made by one of the posters that the journalists cannot tell the difference between the flag and a Trump slogan.
So in answer to your question, I believe the American flag and a Trump slogan are interchangeable.
The reasoning is simple. Without Trump, there will be no America. Trump haters hate America equally.
