Looks like Trump is pounding Biden in Missouri!

I just looked up the 2016 numbers, they’re about the same, Trump was ahead of Clinton by 10 or so in most polls, and won by 18 points.
If Biden’s got the same traction as Clinton, that’s not good enough. Electoral votes aside, Trump won by three squeakers (WI, PA, MI). As an incumbent who has proven himself, he should be far ahead of that old mummy.
I don’t know about 11 points but Trump will take Missouri by a comfortable margin.

Just a few election cycles ago a primary vote for our county in Mo would have been about 1500 votes for each party. Maybe a few more for Dems. This year about 350 Dem votes in the whole county.

President Trump increases his vote total by 20% most everywhere - this makes my theory easy to apply looks like this group is doing the same.
There are three strongholds of the Dems in the state—St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia. Otherwise, if you drive through the rest of the state, you find HUGE Trump/Pence banners and flags. In outstate Missouri, it appears that there is no one else running for the office.
Good news.Now lets see figures...reliable figures...for FL,PA and MI.

today that Biden is still leading Trump by about 4 points nationally, and that Trump got no bump from the RNC convention. This is enough to confuse sane folks like ... Joe Biden.

No. I agree that complacency is bad - but so is doom and gloom.
Proceed as if we are going to kick their asses. Winning begets winning.
There is nothing wrong with building excitement - that motivates people too.
We don’t all get motivated in the same way. A lot of the new blue collar Trump converts I know are sensing a wave of enthusiasm that will carry us to victory. They like being part of a winning team - with some of us it’s good to talk it up and do some hip hip hurrah cheerleading.
If they’re showing up by 10 it’s really up by 20 at least...

I’ll bet not too many people outside of St Louis have ever been polled by Democrat pollsters looking to build a fake narrative of how well Grandpa Groundhog is doing in that all important popular vote.

Biden will win populous states like CA & NY. He very well may have more popular votes so that poll can be right too, assuming it oversaes Democrats.
