If Trump got the chance to fill a Supreme Court seat before the election he wouldn’t have fifty votes to confirm him. Murkowski, Romney, Collins, Gardner would all vote against confirmation. Maybe Grassley and a few others as well.

Exactly...We have the Senate and the Presidency. Obama had only the Whitehouse. The Repubs had the Senate. Would they have given Garland a hard time if nominated...cuz we’re not like the Dems. And we know nothing about Garland...because it didn’t happen.

I read that the democrats have threatened to increase the size of the supreme court if President Trump puts a justice in before the election.
That the minute they retake power they're going to do that.
Now yet another reason I can't stand the republican party steps forward to stab her party in the back...
WOW!, is ginsburg dead or almost cold? They must know something.
The democrats have always planned to stack the supreme court, why pretend it was ever any different?

The argument was the electorate will decide which vision they embrace come November - the Republican candidate's or the Democrat's.
